To Suzie, the bond of blood meant more than anything in the world.
But judging by the things Vivian had said and the intense hostility she radiated, Suzie had a sinking suspicion. Part of Vivian's meltdown was the sheer shock of the truth, but the other part? It was likely because the Lockwoods didn't have the vast wealth and elite status of the Wycliffe family.
Of course, that wasn't something Suzie could say out loud. She kept the thought entirely to herself.

Leaving the police station, Hayden was just as empty-handed as before. He hesitated for a long time before finally deciding to seek out Jamie.
Suzie had mentioned that during the incident at Timberwood Town, Jamie suspected Yasmine Calloway had an ulterior motive. Hayden wanted to know if Jamie had actually uncovered anything.
When he arrived at Baylor Group, Jamie was in the middle of a high-level meeting. Stella, currently acting as the General Manager of DC Entertainment, was also in attendance. She spotted Hayden as he walked past the glass walls toward Jamie's private office.
Hayden waited in the office for a while before the door opened, and both Jamie and Stella walked in.
"Hayden Wycliffe! Who would've thought?" Stella practically jogged over and took a seat next to him, beaming. "The girl you've been treating like a little sister all this time actually *is* your biological sister!"
Hayden chuckled. "Yeah. I've spent the last few days just marveling at it myself."
After a brief exchange of pleasantries, Jamie's cold, emotionless gaze swept over them, bringing the mood back to business.
Hayden cut straight to the chase. "Stella, since you're here, you need to see this too."
