Three Years Forgotten, Why Go Crazy When I Say Goodbye? novel Chapter 285

Willow stopped in her tracks, startled by his sudden appearance. But she quickly regained her composure. The receptionist had warned her that Julian had been looking for her, so she was at least somewhat prepared.

Her tone was freezing, and she didn't even want to look at him. "What do you want? There is absolutely nothing left for us to talk about."

Julian was already simmering with pent-up frustration. Her blunt dismissal only fueled his temper. "Do you have any idea how many days I've been waiting out here for you? Have you been avoiding me on purpose?"

Willow rolled her eyes and shot back, "No one asked you to wait."

He was being totally unreasonable, and she resented him for disrupting her peace.

With that, she turned to leave, but Julian stepped forward, blocking her path. "Hold it. We need to talk."

Willow took two steps back and crossed her arms, her body language radiating pure defensive hostility. "Speak."

Truthfully, she had something to tell him as well. She had planned to call him later to confirm it, but since he was here, she figured she might as well get it over with.

Julian refused. "Let's talk in my car."

Willow held her ground. "We talk here."

Julian stared at her for a long moment, then let out a sharp, mocking laugh. "Fine. If you don't care about broadcasting your private business to the entire street, then this works perfectly for me."
