"Then I have to make sure you don't fall."
And just like that, Willow found herself walking at a leisurely pace under his fiercely protective watch.
A sleek luxury SUV was already waiting for them as they exited the airport. Settling into the leather seats, Willow couldn't help but marvel internally. Traveling with the boss really was the ultimate luxury. She hadn't had to worry about a single detail.
Their accommodation was the Peninsula Seattle, located fairly close to the airport, so the drive was short.
As the vehicle glided to a stop beneath the hotel's grand entrance, a bellboy in a crisp, dark uniform and white gloves immediately stepped forward, bowing slightly as he opened their door and greeted them.
Willow had only ever seen this hotel in the news, usually serving as the backdrop for billionaires and global dignitaries. She never imagined she would actually get the chance to stay here.
Stepping into the lobby, the warm glow of crystal chandeliers reflected off the pristine marble floors. The air carried a subtle, expensive fragrance, and the entire atmosphere felt incredibly serene yet overwhelmingly luxurious. The decor leaned heavily into rich mahogany and soft creams.
Through the towering floor-to-ceiling windows, she could see the sweeping view of the harbor. The aesthetic was the perfect blend of classic elegance and modern comfort, instantly putting her at ease.
As the concierge led them to the front desk, Willow pulled out her ID, assuming she was checking in alone.
But a second later, Silas slid his own ID across the marble counter. "Set up a room for me as well."
Willow blinked in surprise. "You aren't heading back to your family's place?"
In her mind, if he had traveled all the way to Seattle to visit his family, he would obviously stay with them. After all, that was half the reason he was even on this trip.
"Not right now. I'll head over after the summit wraps up," Silas replied smoothly. "Besides, there are a few final details for the presentation I want to go over with you today."
