Three Years Forgotten, Why Go Crazy When I Say Goodbye? novel Chapter 348

The smug smile froze on Vivienne's face, instantly shattering as if someone had hurled a bucket of ice water over her. The triumphant light in her eyes died on the spot.

"What the hell does that mean?" her voice turned shrill and hostile.

"It means exactly what I said. We're quitting. We're done. Is that too hard for you to comprehend?" Leo wasn't intimidated in the slightest, his voice easily overpowering hers. Just thinking about the psychological torture she had inflicted on Willow made him want to reach across the table and slap her.

Vivienne still couldn't process it. In her twisted worldview, everyone was driven purely by greed, especially working-class nobodies like Leo and his crew. Toss them a bone, and they were supposed to wag their tails. Why were they acting so high and mighty?

"I don't have time to play games with you. You'd better retract those resignations right now, before I change my mind and rescind the offer," she warned venomously.

Leo let out a harsh bark of laughter, deciding he was done humoring her delusions. He pulled out the final handover documents, quickly scribbled his signature, and threw the paperwork directly into her face. "Is this clear enough for you?"

One by one, the second, third, and fourth team members mirrored his actions, tossing their signed exit forms onto the table until a messy pile sat before her.

Staring at the undeniable proof, Vivienne finally realized they were dead serious. They were rejecting her generous rescue and walking away from the Sinclair Group.

Refusing to accept defeat, she resorted to pure threats. "Do you honestly believe you can find a better job outside of Sinclair? Keep dreaming. I guarantee no company on this coast will match the terms I just offered."
