He wanted to make sure she had the exact same perks he was giving everyone else.
"Wait, wait, hold on a second," Willow said, her brain scrambling to keep up. How did she suddenly end up being forced onto a mandatory vacation?
She addressed the most glaring issue first. "Leaving aside the fact that we have a massive workload, I don't even have fifteen days of accrued PTO, let alone a month."
"You don't need to worry about the work, and the PTO is even easier. I'll personally approve it. You can take as much time as you want," Silas offered generously.
"By the way, is there anywhere specific you want to go? How about France? Switzerland is gorgeous this time of year too. If you prefer avoiding tourist traps, I own a few private islands. They're completely isolated with incredible scenery. I'm sure you'd love them."
Silas didn't even give her a chance to breathe, enthusiastically planning the itinerary himself. "I can fly out with you. It's always better to travel with someone else; we can decide what to do together. It'll be a lot more fun than going alone."
Willow was completely derailed by his rapid-fire pacing. How did they jump straight to international travel? And with him?
She quickly declined. "I'll have to pass. I really don't have any plans to travel right now."
Silas's initial burst of excitement cooled as rationality kicked back in. He realized he was coming on entirely too strong. He smoothly backpedaled. "No rush. Just let me know whenever you feel like going."
Not wanting him to get the wrong idea, Willow clarified gently, "Even if I do decide to take a trip later, I'll probably go with Jade."
