"You guys have your own dynamic, so just stick to your own pace. Seriously, don't let my big mouth ruin it," Jade stressed again. She'd hate herself if her meddling accidentally caused friction in what was clearly a great thing.
"What pace?" Willow asked, genuinely confused.
"Nothing," Jade laughed, waving it off. "I'm just saying, Silas is a really good guy. He's totally different from the ruthless rumors in the corporate world."
Willow completely agreed with that assessment. "Exactly. Sometimes rumors are pure fiction. He's a total gentleman—low-key, cultured, and undeniably the most exceptional man I've ever met."
"And isn't he insanely hot?" Jade teased.
"True. I can't believe I left that out. Yes, he's the most handsome man I've ever seen."
"So, how do you actually feel about him?" Jade pressed smoothly, seizing the opening.
Willow avoided her gaze, her expression turning unnaturally stiff. "How am I supposed to feel? I have a million things to deal with right now. Besides, he already has someone he likes."
Jade remained highly skeptical about this mysterious "someone else" Silas supposedly liked, but since Willow didn't seem to be lying, she let it slide. She couldn't force a romance, but she could definitely help with the practical mess. "Don't stress too much. I'll handle the situation with Julian. I'll get it sorted sooner or later."
