Three Years Forgotten, Why Go Crazy When I Say Goodbye? novel Chapter 377

"He already texted me the address," Willow replied, shaking her head. "He has his own life. I don't want to bother him with my chores."

"It's not a bother," Jade countered with a knowing smirk. "It's giving him an opportunity. Trust me, he's probably dying for an excuse to come over right now."

Right on cue, the doorbell chimed.

Jade practically skipped to the door and pulled it open. She froze, her eyes widening. Talk about perfect timing.

Silas stood in the hallway. He had traded his usual imposing corporate suits for something effortlessly stylish. He wore a light gray, high-thread-count knit sweater, the collar casually open to reveal the sharp lines of his collarbone. Tailored charcoal trousers hung perfectly on his long legs, paired with bespoke leather derby shoes. Gold-rimmed glasses rested on the bridge of his nose. He looked clean, restrained, and dripping with quiet, old-money wealth.

No matter how many times Jade saw him, she was floored by how unfairly attractive the man was.

Before Jade could find her voice, Silas spoke. "Hello. I'm looking for Willow. Is she in?"

"Yes! Yes, she's here," Jade spun around, yelling down the hall. "Willow! Get out here!"

Willow, who was in the middle of taping a box, hurried toward the foyer. "What's wrong?"

When she saw Silas standing in the doorway, she stopped dead in her tracks. The casual elegance of his outfit caught her completely off guard. He looked incredibly handsome, a breath of fresh air compared to his boardroom persona.

"Why are you here?" she asked, a spark of unmistakable delight in her voice.
