Three Years Forgotten, Why Go Crazy When I Say Goodbye? novel Chapter 508

Once they reached the town, Vivienne worried Julian might discover another clue, so she quickly suggested they head back to New York.

"Julian, my head is throbbing, and my chest hurts. I'm worried I might have internal bleeding. Let's not wait around anymore. Can we please just fly back to New York so I can get a full workup? I'm scared something is really wrong."

Julian's gaze landed on her, dark and unreadable. He had been quiet the entire trek down, appearing calm, but a lingering doubt still gnawed at the back of his mind.

Something about the whole situation felt entirely off. If Willow truly had orchestrated a kidnapping against her, Julian didn't believe for a second that Vivienne would let it slide so easily.

Just as Julian opened his mouth to press her further, his phone buzzed in his pocket. The screen flashed the name 'Susannah Sinclair.'

He didn't want to answer, but his mother was calling relentlessly. Left with no choice, he picked up.

Instantly, Susannah's frantic voice blasted through the speaker. "Julian! Have you found Vivienne yet? What are you waiting for? Bring her home immediately!"

She held the phone out, and Toby's hysterical wailing echoed through the line.

Susannah demanded, "Do you hear Toby crying? Stop dragging your feet and get back here today!"

Julian rubbed his temples, profoundly irritated but unable to argue. He forced down his frustration and replied coldly, "I got it."

He hung up and shot a glacial glare at Vivienne. "How did Mom know I found you?"

He hadn't told anyone in the family since locating her, and her own phone was destroyed. So how did Susannah find out?
