Meanwhile, Vivienne Sinclair had been rushed to the hospital after fainting at the venue. When she woke up, a splitting headache pounded against her skull. Her temples throbbed so violently she barely had the energy to move her eyes.
But she didn't have time to worry about her health. She quickly realized her hospital room was packed with people, the air so thick with tension she could hardly breathe.
Julian Sinclair stood directly across from her bed, dressed in a sharp, dark bespoke suit. He radiated a freezing, intimidating aura. Susannah Sinclair was there too, looking pale and completely drained, her eyes brimming with sheer disappointment.
Beyond them stood various elders and key figures of the Sinclair family. They all wore furious expressions, glaring at her with unbridled disgust and contempt.
It was obvious they had all watched the livestream. They knew everything—the stolen WH credentials, the academic fraud, the blatant lies.
"You actually have the nerve to wake up?" an older relative snapped before Vivienne could even open her mouth. Her voice was shrill and biting. "Vivienne, the Sinclair family treated you like royalty! We brought you in, raised you in luxury, gave you status and endless resources. And this is how you repay us?"
An uncle quickly chimed in, his voice booming with rage. "Plagiarism? Identity theft? Stealing years of someone else's hard work? Are you out of your mind?! The entire internet is blowing up. Our partners are pulling out of contracts. The stock is in a free-fall—we lost billions in half an hour! You're going to destroy the entire Sinclair Group!"
"We raised a snake in our own home!" another relative scoffed. "You always acted so sweet and innocent, but your heart is pure poison. We took in the wrong girl!"
