Three years of loving him, three days to erase myself from his world novel Chapter 186

For some reason, this sparked a bigger flutter in her chest than the very first time she held Julian's hand.

Must be an illusion.

Clara rubbed her cheeks.

Ultimately, she reached the conclusion that she was simply overthinking it. The man was probably just making polite small talk.

[I will. You make sure to stay warm too, Mr. Jarrett.]

Sending it off, she put down her phone and went to her vanity to apply her skincare.

She had no idea that Dominic stared at that message for a long, long time, treating it like some priceless treasure...

Clara and Leo met at the coffee shop, taking an inconspicuous table in the corner.

Clara felt both warmed by his concern and amused. She reached out and tugged his sleeve, saying apologetically, "Alright, I promise it won't happen again. From now on, whenever something comes up, you'll be the first to know!"

Leo scoffed. "So, no more running to Julian? Why the sudden change?"

Clara swatted his arm playfully and laughed, "I finally shook the delusions out of my head, okay?"

Leo lifted his chin, finally cracking a smile. "That's more like it. Julian is a complete jerk and he was never worth it. It's about time you saw his true colors."
