Three years of loving him, three days to erase myself from his world novel Chapter 260

Julian frowned deeply, his outstretched hand freezing in midair.

He did want to sleep with her, but he had never intended to degrade her like that.

"Clara!"

Clara offered a cold smile.

Then, she gently lowered her gaze and said in a sorrowful whisper.

"Julian, this is truly pointless. Can we just go our separate ways in peace? If you want to sleep with women, there are plenty out there willing to throw themselves at you..."

She had entirely shut the door on any reconciliation.

Julian's face darkened.

He was a proud man.

Straightening up, he looked down at her with condescending authority.

"And what if I refuse to break up?"

Clara was stunned. "Julian, don't push me..."

Julian narrowed his eyes. "You mean you'll leak my relationship with Seraphina to the press? Oh, Clara, do you really think any media outlet would dare publish anything about my private life without my permission?"

Clara's face instantly went white.

Julian's gaze darkened.

He didn't want a complete fallout with her either. His tone softened significantly as he leaned down and stroked her cheek with his large hand.

"Eat your porridge and get some rest. Don't even dream about breaking up."

Clara frowned and dodged his touch.

Julian's brow furrowed. He straightened up again, didn't linger any longer, and walked away.

Clara suddenly spoke up, her voice hoarse.

Her voice was incredibly faint, laced with a hint of sorrow.

"You don't love me, so why are you forcing this? Why can't we just move on in peace? Go be happy with the person you actually love."

Julian stopped in his tracks. A turbulent wave crashed through his chest, a fleeting agony sparked by her words.

But before he could even process the sensation, it vanished.

Julian's expression grew dark and unreadable.

He turned his head slightly and delivered one final blow. "Clara, men in my circle don't just easily swap out the women by their side, especially the ones they've gone public with. When you got together with me years ago, you should have known this."

With that, he strode out and shut the door behind him.

Clara stared blankly at the ceiling, her heart turning to ice.

So, he was refusing to let her go simply for the sake of appearances and his fragile male ego.

She was nothing but a tool.

She'd only be discarded once he got married.

Clara forced a dismal, bitter smile.

She couldn't even cry anymore; she had already shed every last tear she had for him...

She thought, to hell with not breaking up. If she wanted to leave, nobody could stop her!
