Three years of loving him, three days to erase myself from his world novel Chapter 269

"Has my temper been too good lately? Hm?"

After that, the silence spoke louder than words...

...

At 2:00 AM, Capital City General Hospital.

Clara accompanied Julian to the hospital to get his wound dressed.

In the VIP ward, Clara sat quietly on a waiting chair, looking down at her phone, the picture of complete detachment.

Dr. Aris was bandaging Julian. Looking at the bloody gash, he couldn't help but offer a gentle reminder.

"This wound isn't too deep, but it shouldn't be neglected! The family member really ought to keep a closer eye on him."

He phrased it vaguely.

But Julian was a man; there was no way he didn't understand the underlying implication.

He cast a cold glare at the little woman sitting so casually across from him.

Truth be told, nothing had actually happened in the end. His head was bleeding, leaving him dizzy and disoriented, and combined with Clara's fierce resistance, he had the desire but lacked the strength.

He scoffed mockingly. "She's probably wishing I was injured even worse! Then she could go run off with someone else!"

Clara caught the subtle jab, but she couldn't be bothered to respond.

Caught in the middle, Dr. Aris felt incredibly awkward. Young couples really knew how to play rough!

He swiftly finished applying Julian's medicine, gave a few quick instructions, and hurried out.

Now, only the two of them were left in the ward, the atmosphere suffocatingly heavy.

Seeing her scrolling through her phone without sparing him a single glance, Julian lost his patience and broke the silence.

"Come over here and pour me a glass of water."

Clara finally lifted her eyes.

Without saying a word, she pocketed her phone, stood up, and poured him a glass of water. But as she handed it to him, she stated, "I have things to do, so I'll be leaving now."

Julian took the glass, frowning. He reminded her, "I'm injured, and you're the one who caused it."
