Tonight Her Love Ended novel Chapter 102

She wasn't entirely sure if Tristan would actually go through with it.

But remembering how passionate and intimate he and Yvette had been in the car yesterday, she figured that as long as he wanted it, Yvette getting pregnant was only a matter of time.

The call inside ended. Nova never heard Tristan's response. Perhaps he was actually considering the feasibility of the idea?

Thank God her babies were already gone.

If it really came down to it, she could just come clean with a clear conscience.

Twisting the door handle, Nova walked in with a blank expression and began pouring water for Chuck.

Seeing her utterly unfazed demeanor, Chuck furrowed his brow but ultimately kept his mouth shut.

Nova didn't say a single word to him either, turning on her heel to leave.

But just as she reached the doorway, Chuck heard the sharp, shattering crash of the water pitcher hitting the floor, followed immediately by Nova's piercing scream!

He shot up from his chair and rushed out.

With one glance, he saw Nova collapsed on the floor, clutching her abdomen in excruciating pain.

Kieran was standing right next to her.

"What happened?" Chuck demanded, scowling at his friend.

A brief flash of panic crossed Kieran's face, but he quickly masked it with a look of absolute disgust. "Who knows why she just threw herself on the ground?"

On the floor, Nova looked up at Kieran, her face contorted in agony.

It had clearly been him! As she walked out the door, he had intentionally shoved her!

But... her babies were already gone. How could a simple fall hurt this much?

The pain was so blinding that Nova couldn't even speak. All the color drained from her face.

Seeing her state, Chuck instinctively reached out to help her up.

Kieran threw an arm out to stop him. "Don't bother with her. Isn't it better if she loses the kid? If the old lady asks, we'll just say she tripped on her own. She deserves it!"
