Tonight Her Love Ended novel Chapter 296

"Excuse me, miss, and you are?" Julian Stratford asked, firmly placing his hand over the Divorce Agreement on the desk.

Yvette's smile faded slightly.

"My name is Yvette Sellers. I'm Tristan's girlfriend. Since you're here representing your client, I imagine you've heard my name mentioned by certain people." She shot a pointed look at Nova.

The implication was crystal clear: she was accusing Nova of talking trash about her behind her back.

Nova had zero time to play these petty games with her. She also fully trusted Julian's professional competence.

*And she even got this lawyer to target me?*

Yvette thought Nova was being absolutely ridiculous. She looked like a pathetic clown.

*Why even bother?*

Yvette gave an exasperated, almost pitying smile. She picked up her phone and, right in front of Julian and Nova, sent a voice memo.

"Tristan, Mr. Stratford is here with the divorce papers. If you're busy, do you want me to look them over for you first?"

Nova had just finished organizing all the files and sent a status report on the project workflow to Tristan's team. She was currently waiting for his response.

Hearing Yvette's voice, she couldn't help but look up.

She watched as Yvette played a voice message. The familiar sound of the man's voice echoed from the speaker: "I'll send someone over."

Nova's face instantly darkened. She had sent him her work report and project updates...
