Tonight Her Love Ended novel Chapter 63

Tristan didn't take it. His gaze swept over Nova, cold and entirely devoid of warmth.

In that moment, Nova's body practically trembled...

It was so humiliating!

Just as she reached out, intending to snatch the charm back and tear it to shreds, the man's hand moved.

Her fingertips brushed against the back of his hand. It was ice-cold, completely devoid of warmth, exactly like the man himself.

Nova quickly tried to pull her hand away, but Tristan had already withdrawn his.

Oblivious to the tension, Belinda asked, "Well? What do you think?"

Tristan replied flatly, "Yeah. It's fine."

Belinda beamed. "If you like it, keep it close. It's a token of Nova's devotion, prayed for while carrying your child! Did you see the photos?"

Nova didn't stick around to ask what photos she was talking about. Unable to endure another second, she turned and headed upstairs, completely unaware of the figure hiding in the shadows around the corner.

Tristan's expression remained unreadable.

Belinda's face turned serious. "I took the liberty of having Nova resign from her job."

"Alright." He had already received the news on his way back. He took the bowl of soup a maid offered and took a sip. It tasted excellent.

In truth, Tristan found every dish Nova cooked perfectly suited to his palate.

He used to have stomach issues and was notoriously picky about his food.

But now, his stomach problems were completely cured. He hadn't felt any pain in a long time, meaning he didn't actually need this specific soup anymore.

Belinda continued, "Nova went out of her way for you today. Even Master Nolan said the two of you are a match made in heaven and are destined to be together. What about you? How do you feel?"

It couldn't just be Nova putting in all the effort. Her grandson needed to take some initiative.

His initiative was the most important piece of the puzzle!

Tristan set down his bowl and asked slowly, "Did she ask you to test the waters with all this?"

Belinda's chest tightened with frustration. "I want to know where your head is at!"

That Yvette Sellers was simply too exceptional.

And to Tristan, without Belinda, he wouldn't exist.

Without a word, he picked up the pen, signed his name, and offered a faint smile. "Are you happy now?"

His decisiveness caught even Belinda off guard.

She read over the signature several times before finally nodding in satisfaction. "Good. I'm going to keep this contract locked away with my will!"

Tristan didn't reply and headed upstairs.

Belinda finally felt at ease.

"This is the ultimate reassurance for Nova. With this in place, she'll never have to feel insecure again."

So what if Yvette kept making moves?

She would never set foot in the Forrester family as long as she lived!

Smiling, Belinda stood up to lock the contract in the study's safe.
