A few minutes later, Noelle finished her call and came back.
These pilots weren't the least bit afraid. On the contrary, they got even more excited and mocked her.
"It doesn't matter who you call. No one here can control us."
"Leave now if you know what's good for you!"
They didn't think they had done anything wrong. Instead, they were utterly brazen. Even if Noelle really called for reinforcements, she wouldn't know which flight squadron they were from. What was there to be afraid of?
The pilots acted as if nothing had happened. They went back inside and continued drinking, even deliberately leaving the door open so the Flame Speed Racing members could watch them eat, drink, and make merry. This was blatant provocation.
Noelle checked the time and instructed her team members, "We'll wait here for half an hour. Someone will come and handle this before the time is up."
Jayden was so angry that he wanted to knock the pilots' lights out. If Noelle hadn't been there to hold him back, he would've charged at them already.
Noelle had the team members pull up chairs and sit, instead of just standing around. Seeing her so calm and composed, everyone grew curious about who she had just called.
Jenna asked, "Captain, did you report this to Coach Landaal? Is he coming to handle it?"
It would take at least an hour to get here from their intensive training camp, but the time limit Noelle mentioned was only half an hour. He could never make it here in time.
Noelle remained calm. "It's not him, but someone else will take care of it."
She glanced at the pilots inside and reassured Jayden, "Don't worry. They will pay for breaking your suitcase and being so disrespectful toward us. We're the national racing team. We don't have to take this at all."
Besides, since this venue was personally approved by Jude, it couldn't have been a mistake. These pilots were most likely here to sabotage things on purpose, but there was no telling who put them up to it.
Meanwhile, the pilots inside weren't actually as relaxed and cheerful as they seemed while drinking. The man leading them was named Phil Zegler. In fact, they were all students from the flight academy. So, technically, they weren't actual pilots yet.
Previously, the flight academy had planned to send a group of outstanding students to this new base to study alongside the flight corps, so everyone had been looking forward to it.
