Too Good for You The Ex-Wife You Lost novel Chapter 255

"What's the matter, Mr. Lowe? Does it sound unreasonable to you?" Noelle asked, sighing. "If that's the case, I'll have to report this to the flight corps. Your cadets have really gone too far this time."

"It sounds perfectly fine to me!" Jason said hurriedly, not daring to hesitate. "Ms. Quinn, don't worry. This is also a wonderful chance for them to toughen up and improve! I'll have them undergo a transformation through good, old labor work for the next month. They'll handle all the cleaning and fieldwork!"

Noelle nodded in satisfaction. Meanwhile, Phil and the others were dumbstruck. Good heavens, their misery just knew no end.

Noelle couldn't care less about that. Phil and his friends shouldn't have messed with her in the first place. Anyone who crossed her would live to regret it.

After breakfast, the Flame Speed Racing members headed off to training in high spirits. A new venue really did make a difference. There were no annoying teams to interrupt them, and the training rooms and grounds were set up specifically for them.

The only drawback was that they had moved in so hastily that the equipment and the racing track here hadn't been modified yet. That said, improvements were already underway at Noelle's behest.

Noelle looked over the list Jude had given her and started contacting the coaches one by one. After reaching out, she finally understood why that old man hadn't done the contacting himself.

The coaches on that list simply didn't have time to come. Every call ended with people passing the buck. It was clear that, even if they had time, they weren't willing to make a trip here just to coach a single team.

She couldn't catch a break. Problems just kept coming. Right now, Flame Speed Racing needed a coach, and that was a top-priority issue.

Noelle was racking her brain and wandering the base in irritation when she spotted in the fields the familiar figure she had glimpsed last night. It was much brighter in the daytime. Even though he wore a cap and plain clothes, Noelle recognized him at a glance.

She shouted, "Finn!"

The man's body stiffened, but he continued working as if he hadn't heard her. Noelle was very certain about it. He was Finn Jameson, one of the former Solar Squad members.

She rushed over, feeling excited. "Finn"

She didn't understand why a racer as skilled as Finn would be working at a farm, but she was still thrilled to see an old teammate here.

It was obvious that Finn heard Noelle, but he had no intention of acknowledging her. Holding a handheld mower, he headed farther away. Clearly, he was avoiding her.

Noelle ignored the looks from Phil and the others and hurried after Finn. She had to sprint before she could finally catch up to him at the edge of the field.
