Too Late For Regrets, Mr. Billionaire (Brianna Meyers and Brandon Levy) novel Chapter 75

Chapter 71

Chapter 75

The plane touched down in Kamdiff that morning. Brianna and Clair Salazar were flying first class, while Jane and Reese were flying business class. They didn’t cross paths during the flight.

It wasn’t until they disembarked that they came out of the VIP exit right behind each other. From afar, Brianna spotted Darcy and her family together with Brandon.

Brianna sneered inwardly. ‘Honestly, those two lowlifes look like they belong together, she thought. Brianna kept a poker face, showing no emotion. With Clair by her side, she walked toward Brandon, beaming with a cheerful smile.

As she approached, a hint of warmth softened Brandon’s usually indifferent expression. He stepped forward and took her suitcase and bag from her hands. His voice was deliberately gentle. “You’re back? Did you have a good time?”

Brianna put on a cute, spoiled act. “Luckily, Clair took care of me the whole trip, so it was really nice,” she said.

A hint of annoyance flashed across Brandon’s face. He reached out to Clair for a handshake. “Mr. Salazar, I really appreciate all the care you’ve given my wife,” he said.

Clair suppressed his dislike for Brandon. “No need to thank me, Mr. Levy. Brianna and I have known each other for many years. It’s only right to do so,” he said.

As they were talking, Jane and Reese walked over. Darcy excitedly rushed over to her grandmother and aunt. “Grandma, I missed you so much!” Darcy said, her voice full of emotion. With that, the three of them hugged each other warmly.

Jane glanced at Brianna and hugged Darcy tightly. “My sweet girl, I missed you like crazy,” she said.

Whitney and Blanca stepped forward to help with the luggage. The family spent some time chatting and catching up. They looked like the perfect happy family, basking in warmth and togetherness.

Whitney turned around, brought Brandon over, and introduced him to the family. “Mom, this is Brandon, the CEO of Levy Group, your granddaughter’s husband.” He then turned to Brandon and said, “This is Grandma, and this is Aunt.”

Brandon greeted them politely. Jane pretended not to know anything. “I recognize you. You’re the one from the pictures,” she said. Then she turned to Reese. “Just look at him, such a catch! He and Darcy really look great together.”

Whitney didn’t say anything, and neither did Blanca. Brianna just stayed quiet. Brandon smiled gently and said, “I think you’re mistaken. I’m Brianna’s husband.”

Only then did Darcy protest with a playful reproach. “Grandma, you’re confused again! Look what you’ve just said; Brianna’s

r gonna get mad at me again,” she said, pouting.

Brianna looked at everyone, her gaze filled with nothing but contempt and disdain. She said flatly, “Brandon, I’m hungry, and Clair’s tired too. Let’s go.”

“Mm,” Brandon responded and nodded to the rest, and then walked away.

Just as they were about to leave, Darcy called out, “Brianna. Brianna turned around, her eyes icy, wondering what trick Darcy was up to this time.

“Brianna, it’s been some time since you last saw Grandma,” Darcy said, her face plastered with a polite smile. “It’s almost noon now. How about we all have lunch together?” Darcy suggested.

Darcy nudged her grandma with her elbow and continued, “It’s been so many years since you last saw Grandma. She’s been missing you, too!”

Cane’s play expression melted away, and a warm, grandmotherly smile spread across her face. “That’s right, Brianna. Who

knows when I’d get to see you if we hadn’t run into each other today,” she said.

Brianna could barely hold back a laugh. She gently slipped her arm through Brandon’s, then looked at the Meyers family as if staking her claim.

“Another day. When Brandon has time, we’ll treat you all to a meal” With that, she linked arins with Brandon’s and walked

away.

The Meyers family watched her walk off with that smug look on her face, so angry their molars were practically grinding to dust. Reese muttered, “What’s she so full of herself for?”

Blanca quickly fanned the flames. “Reese, you don’t know this. Ever since she married into the Levy family, she hasn’t even addressed her dad once,” she said.

Jane’s anger flared up. “Outrageous! How did the Meyers family end up with such a rebellious daughter?” she exclaimed.

Darcy held Jane’s hand with a pleading look, acting all pitiful. “Grandma, don’t be mad. Brianna’s not upset with you; she merely looks down on me.” Darcy said, pouting.

Jane was fuming. “Who does she think she is? Whoever the Meyers family acknowledges is a child of the Meyers family!” The group cursed as they walked out of the airport.

Darcy watched as Brianna walked away, whose figure was getting farther and farther. A vicious glint flickered in Darcy’s eyes as she sneered to herself, ‘Just wait; let’s see how long you two can keep up this loving couple act.

Just as they got into the car and left the Meyers behind, Brianna shot Brandon a cold, hard look. Brandon couldn’t figure out what was going on.

Brandon turned to Clair and asked, “Mr. Salazar, how long are you planning to stay in Klamdiff?”

Clair, sitting in the front passenger seat, frowned as he checked his phone. He turned around, still frowning, but then a flicker of excitement flashed in his eyes.

“Looks like I’ll be bothering Brianna for quite a while. The company is setting up a branch here, and they want me to handle the initial setup,” Clair said.

Brianna beamed with joy, unable to hide her delight. “Really? That’s awesome!” she exclaimed.

After spending time with Clair lately, she noticed he was a big deal in the Jewelry design world, with amazing connections

and real talent.

He was a real go-getter when it came to business. Chatting with him was always easy and fun. He always gave her new perspectives and inspired her. Brianna was genuinely glad that Clair would be staying in Klamdiff for a while.

Seeing Brianna so delighted, Brandon’s expression grew cold. “Do you want to stay at a hotel, or should I set you up with a place? I’ll arrange,” he said.

Clair hurriedly refused. “Mr. Levy, you’re busy enough as it is. No need to fuss over something so petty,” he said.

Brandon smiled. “No need to be so formal, Mr. Salazar. You and Brianna studied under the same mentor, and you’ve been looking out for her all this time. Let me handle this as a small token of appreciation,” he said.

Brianna listened to Brandon quietly. Even though Brandon acted close, she could sense an even deeper distance between them.

She turned to Clair and said, “Why don’t you just stay at a hotel for now? Once it’s confirmed you’ll be here for a while. I’ll

Brianna felt Brandon was acting strangely, ‘Is he just flexing his money right now? He usually keeps things pretty low-key and tries not to make others feel uncomfortable. But today/he’s like deliberately making a show of his wealth, she thought.

Brianna was so embarrassed she could feel her toes curling in her shoes. She shot him a puzzled look that said, ‘Are you having a weird day or what?
