Tror in grated to Paice Panther Cubs
Chapter 279 Taking Flight
“Take these home. You can make a drink out of them, or toss a little into your congee when you cook it.” Zachary said as he packed a big bundle for each of them.
The therians happily accepted the bundles. Before leaving, they worked together to clean up the area outside the cave.
By the time Jaden got home that evening, he immediately spotted the new snacks sitting on the table. With a grin, Zachary beckoned him over and fed him a piece.
“Thank you, Sire.” After speaking, Jaden suddenly wrapped his arms around him. “It’s really good.”
Zachary ruffled his hair. “What’s gotten into our Jaden today? You’re being so sweet. Come here and let me hold you properly.”
Even after a long day, Matthew still had energy. He had his arms wrapped around Zachary’s waist, his face buried against the soft curve of Zachary’s relaxed stomach. The warm puffs of his breath and his wandering tongue kept making Zachary squirm from the ticklish sensation.
Zachary sucked in a breath and puffed out his stomach, trying to push Matthew’s face away. But after getting lightly nipped, his stomach immediately softened again.
Twisting a small lock of Matthew’s hair around his finger, Zachary played with it absentmindedly. “What’s wrong? Worn out?”
Matthew slid his arms a little higher around him and shook his head against him. His voice came out muffled. “My mate’s amazing.”
Zachary laughed. “So, are you proud or not?”
“Proud.”
Zachary pinched one of his ears. “At this rate, you’re gonna leave a face print on my stomach.”
Matthew’s face slid down along his stomach and buried itself in again.
Zachary’s breath caught. “You… what are you doing…”
Matthew’s long fingers curled around the leg draped against the side of his neck. He lifted his eyes slightly, amusement dancing in them. “I’m running out of air.”
“Mmh…”
The latest batch of brown sugar had barely arrived at the market before it started drawing attention from other tribes. After a taste test, the therians immediately began offering trades for it.

Chapter 279 Taking Flight
A few birds circled overhead before disappearing back into the mountains,
At the market, Jaden and Taylor ran into some familiar faces.
Among the crowd, the vulture tribe’s therians, with their shiny bald heads, were impossible to miss Linde Baldy was perched on an adult’s shoulders as usual. His round head practically gleamed under the sun.
“Taylor! Jaden!” Little Baldy waved both arms wildly, too excited to contain himself.
“Little Baldy!” Taylor grinned from ear to ear and grabbed Jaden’s hand as they ran over.
“Your tribe is so lively!” Little Baldy looked around in amazement. “There are so many things here. And everything smells so good.”
“You finally made it.” Taylor pulled a small cookie from his pocket. “We’ve been waiting for you. Later, Jaden and I are gonna take you to the swings.”
Little Baldy hadn’t forgotten the promise he’d made before. His eyes sparkled with excitement. “I can carry you guys while flying now.”
Taylor’s eyes lit up instantly. “Really!”
The three cubs headed to a quieter spot where there were fewer therians.
Little Baldy slipped behind a tree and took off his clothes. “Of course. I’ve been practicing flying every day when I got back. I’ve even carried rocks heavier than you.”
He then transformed into a vulture, his wings huge, and in one sudden motion, he flew up into the sky before landing back on the ground.
Taylor clapped nonstop. “That’s awesome!”
The vulture shook its feathers. “Hiss. Hiss.” It leaned forward and signaled for them to get on.
Taylor asked, “Would it be too heavy with both of us?”
Little Baldy thought so too and nodded.
Jaden glanced at the eager Taylor and said, “I’ll go first.”

Taylor reminded him, “Then you’ve gotta sit steady.”
Then, he turned to Little Baldy. “Little Baldy, don’t fly too high. Don’t let Jaden fall. And if you get tired, just call out. Don’t push yourself.”
The vulture blinked. “Hiss. Hiss.”
Jaden carefully climbed onto Little Baldy’s back. The next second, the vulture flapped its wings and flew into the sky.
Jaden had never been up in the air before, so he felt nervous. He reached out halfway, then decided it didn’t feel right to grab its neck, so he held his hands loosely near the vulture’s shoulders instead.

Chapter 279 Taking Flight
Little Baldy carried him in a slow circle. It wasn’t very high, just barely above the treetops. but it felt completely different from being on the ground.
The view in the sky was wide open. The wind hit his face, and the therians below turned into tiny moving dots.
Jaden loved it.
Zachary wandered around the market and saw Taylor alone. He asked where Jaden had gone.
Taylor looked up and pointed at the sky. “He’s up there. Little Baldy’s flying him.”
“Hmm?” Zachary’s breath caught for a moment when he spotted the bird and the cub in the sky, his eyes locked on their shapes.
Matthew said, “Don’t worry. It’s not very high. If he falls, I can catch him.”
Zachary still felt uneasy since both of them were cubs.
Matthew waved up at the sky. Jaden seemed to sense it and lightly patted Little Baldy’s head. “Let’s head down.”
Little Baldy nodded and landed smoothly.
“Sire, Alpha.” Jaden smiled brightly. His wind–tossed bangs were still sticking up.
Zachary smoothed his hair down and asked, “Did you have fun?”
Jaden nodded. “Yeah. It felt really good. It was just open space all around.”
When it was Taylor’s turn, Zachary felt even less at ease. That cub was naturally lively, and he worried that once he got up there, Taylor might get too excited and even stand up./
Taylor rubbed his hands together. “My turn, my turn!”
A vulture tribe therian walked over. “Don’t worry. Little Baldy is very steady.”
