“Hey, Princess Patches,” He says, voice trembling ‘We still need to finish the Descendants movies, remember? You can’t bail on me now.

off.
The sound cracks the air like glass breaking.

“I can’t lose you,” he whispers. “Please.

That I’m here.
But my lips won’t move.
Everything folds in on itself–sound, light, breath.
I can feel gloved hands press against me as the world tilts again.
Black seeps in around the edges of everything.
I blink–once, twice–eyes dragging down.
And then-
Just the beeping.
And the dark pulling me under again.3rd Person’s POV
The world stops.
That sound-

“Come on, Rora,” Jace breathes, hands gripping his hair, tears streaking down his cheeks. “Come on, don’t do this-“His voice cracks on the last word. “Not like this, please-“Nico turns, slamming the wall until his knuckles bleed, a strangled scream clawing from his throat.
“Time of death-” The doctor begins.
“No!” Andrei’s yell cuts through the room like thunder. “Keep going!”
“Sir-“The nurse falters, eyes wide.
“Keep going!” Andrei barks again.
“Clear!“The shock hits again as her small frame ares, then drops, motionless.
The line on the monitor stays stubbornly flat.
Endless. Unforgiving.
The doctors move slower now, desperation etched into every movement.
The brothers, usually unshakable, broken–terrified, hollowed out by helplessness.
The flatline tone–a cold, unyielding hammer–beats against every nerve.
And yet… no change.
No heartbeat.
No signal that she’s coming back.Just…
A flatline…
