Clara looked at Emmett, not sure how to respond for a moment.

If I tell Emmett everything now, will he forgive me?

"Emmett, how would you react if I deceived you?" she asked cautiously.

"If you deceived me, I wouldn't let you go," replied Emmett. "I hope you won't upset me over some guy. Clara, I'll spoil you, but I won't indulge you. Tell me what you've lied about now, and maybe I'll consider forgiving you."

"Why would I deceive you? I'm just asking."

Before Clara could finish, Emmett pulled her over!

Before she could react, Emmett kissed her!

She instinctively struggled, but Emmett didn't let go.

"I've made myself clear. Are you still going to resist me?"

"But I!."

"I didn't blame Elio because he's your friend."

Emmett's words were clear enough.

Elio said, "Your mom doesn't want to marry me! Your mom has a lot of admirers."

"But Mr. Milburn is the best! I like you the most!"

"Good boy." Elio stroked his hair, "How about Uncle takes you out for dinner? Tell me what you want! Pizza sounds good?"

Upon hearing this, Alex immediately nodded, "Yes!"
