Clara glanced at him and didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

This man was always able to say things that left her unable to argue, things that seemed right yet wrong!

At night, Alex was moved to a newly prepared room.

Sophia initially wanted both brothers to sleep together, but Emmett thought it inappropriate since they just met. They could share a room once they got closer.

A waiter came over to help Alex bathe and change into new clothes.

He was tossing and turning in bed, unable to sleep. Just when he was about to sit up, there was a knock on the door.

Startled, Alex quickly put on his slippers and carefully opened the door.

It was Aiden.

"Are you still awake?"

"Nope!" Alex stuck out his tongue, "What's up?"

Aiden glanced at him, "Let's talk inside!"

Alex quickly stepped aside to let him in, closed the door, and locked it.

He was a bit nervous, wondering how Aiden would scold him.

"You did that on purpose last time, didn't you?" Aiden asked calmly, not sounding accusatory.

Aiden was speechless and glared at him!

Although they shared the same face, why was his IQ so...speechless!

"But Mr. Milburn didn't give birth to you!"

"But Emmett didn't raise me either!"

Aiden was left speechless, his expression serious, "So you haven't given up on having your Mr. Milburn pursue mom?"

"I've come back with you guys; what's the use of not giving up! Mom won't agree no matter what, saying it's adult business that I don't understand and that I should just follow the arrangements."
