The secretary glanced at Taylor through the rear-view mirror, expressing her worry. "Mr. Atwood, Ms. Calloway's attitude was pretty clear. Why are you still getting involved? Ms. Calloway is so cold; perhaps it's time to let go. She disregards your feelings and only hurts you with her words, over-praising Emmett. She's not worth your sacrifice."

Taylor frowned. "What do you know? I've done my homework on Clara. She's not like that! There must be something we don't know."

"But she hurt you; that's a fact! She didn't even say hi after seeing your previous state!" The secretary gave a bitter smile, "I'm not trying to piss you off, but I've heard rumblings around the office. Your previous secretary was fired for being your mother's mole! Your mother wants you to cut ties with Ms. Calloway, so you should avoid making her mad."

The secretary was baffled. So many beautiful women were falling over themselves to get to Taylor. Each one of them was prettier and had a better figure than Clara. But why did Taylor...only like Clara?

"You don't get it." Taylor waved his hand dismissively, "There must be many things that happened between me and Clara! I had someone investigate and found that Clara had a child that she's always kept hidden. I couldn't even find a photo or information about him! The time she was pregnant coincided with when I lost my memory in a car accident, so I suspect...that child might be mine."

The secretary was shocked. "Really? If the child is yours, why would your mother prevent you from seeing her?"

"I'm not sure about the specifics." Whenever he tried to remember forcefully, he'd get splitting headaches!
