Back then, Aiden was still a baby.
"I heard from my mom that it was Mr. Milburn who helped deliver us."
"… Clara actually told you that too!"
Aiden chuckled and glanced at the bodyguard of the Melendez family not far away. "Mr. Milburn, we have bodyguards picking us up from school. If we don't leave now, they'll notice! Then dad will know that Mr. Milburn came to see us."
Elio was momentarily stunned. He didn't expect Aiden to be so smart and mature! Even such things he could foresee.
"You're such a clever kid, no wonder you've grown up beside Emmett."
He was so different from Alex!
"Thanks for the compliment."
"Then you guys should head back! Next time, I'll come when you're in school."
Upon hearing this, Alex was somewhat reluctant to leave him, "Mr. Milburn, I don't want to leave you! I still want to play with you, you take me to eat yummy food!"
"Next time I'll definitely take you out to play! Now you have to be a good boy, okay?"
"Fine," Alex pouted, and then reluctantly left with Aiden.
Behind them, Elio watched as they got in the car, his emotions complex.
Clara's kids are so wonderful, yet now they have to face a broken home! Even though he liked Clara, he didn't want to see this scene.
But he also knew that Leah wouldn't stop until she got what she wanted! Her intentions were not pure from the start! She's been planning this for so long, there's no way he could persuade her.
"And he often plays with me! When mom doesn't have time for me, it's Mr. Milburn who stays with me."
"So, it's normal for you to like him," What Aiden was thinking about was not these, but… "But didn't you say he was abroad? How did he suddenly come back?"
This made Alex somewhat puzzled.
"Really! I even asked Mr. Milburn before, he told me that he won't be seeing me for a while!" Alex blinked. "Could it be Mr. Milburn is planning to win Mom back again?"
"I guess something might have happened," Aiden felt somewhat uneasy inside. Any abnormality would give him this feeling.
"Maybe Mr. Milburn missed me too much, couldn't resist, so he came back to see me! Aiden, you're overthinking!"
"I don't think I'm overthinking, I think you're oversimplifying! This matter may involve Dad and Mom, and I'm worried that there's something between them we don't know about."
