Emmett squinted, his gaze sweeping over Elio's face, asking, “What's up with her?”

Elio's mouth twitched, swallowing hard on words he had intended to say, “She… she's weak and can't do heavy work. But if you really need help, I can find someone else for you!”

“You think what I need is a helper?”
