"Hand it over."

Clara shook her head vehemently, "No way! This, this, this is mine..."

Emmett's eyes narrowed, fixed on her face.

Judging by how she's shaking like a leaf, could it be that she's been in touch with Elio again?

"Yours? How can I know you didn't steal it from the Melendez family?"

Clara's eyes darted around, looking for any chance to escape.

Emmett's face darkened further. She was aware of the palpable tension, but she couldn't even fathom his reaction if he saw the pregnancy test!

Clara knew that she was no match for him if he decided to snatch it away. But where could she hide such a large object?

"Clara, you'd better hand it over while I'm still not angry."

"But the person you accept will be the mother of my two grandsons, how can it be your business alone?" Sophia glared in the direction Clara had disappeared, "You're still entangled with her?
