Emmett paused for a bit, "If he's extremely introverted, he might be autistic. He should get checked out at the hospital."

"There's nothing wrong with him! He's definitely not autistic!"

If Alex is autistic, then there is no one healthy left in this world!

"Well, that's good." Emmett glanced at his watch and stood up. "It's time for your flight. I'll walk you to the gate."

"No need! I can handle it!"

"Let's go."

"Mommy!"

Upon catching sight of Clara, Alex impulsively wanted to hug her. But the injury to his leg made him grimace and he sat in his wheelchair instead.

Clara quickly walked up and embraced her son.

"Alex! I've missed you so much!"

"Mommy, me too." Alex blinked, and tears unexpectedly fell from his eyes.

"Don't cry, don't cry! If you do, Mommy will want to cry too." Clara reached out to wipe away Alex's tears.

Standing aside, Elio curled his lip, "Hey, are you two planning on ignoring me?"

Clara looked up at Elio and gave an awkward smile, "Elio, thank you! If it weren't for you, I wouldn't know where to send Alex."

"You heartless woman. Can’t you give me any other reward apart from saying thanks?" Elio raised an eyebrow.

Clara looked at her son, "Can we go home first? Do we need to discuss this here?"

She had just gotten off the plane and was exhausted.

"Alright, but you must give me an answer today!"

"…" Clara felt like she had stepped off the plane and directly into a trap.

"Let's go, my car's waiting downstairs. This time, I need an answer from you! I'm really curious. What does your constant rejection mean?"

"Elio! Can you not talk about these things in front of the child?"

Clara glanced at Alex, then shot Elio a look.
