Ethan and Alfred gently guided Arabella toward her room, reminding her, “Get some rest now. Remember we’re going to the hospital tomorrow.”

Arabella’s expression grew slightly somber. “Medically, he could use more observation. But the current hospital setting isn’t the most conducive for his recovery. I’ve decided it’s better to get him into a proper, quiet place where he can recuperate fully. That should speed his improvement.”

She had invested too much effort into Edward’s treatment to risk his recovery at this critical stage.

After watching them drive off, Ethan got into his own car, deciding to make a stop at the pharmaceutical plant construction site first.

At the hospital, Arabella and Alfred soon arrived at Edward’s room.

“How are you feeling today, Edward? Ready to check out?” Arabella asked Edward.

Edward returned her smile. “More than ready.”

“Alfred is taking care of the discharge paperwork. I’ll help you gather your things,” Arabella said, beginning to organize Edward’s few belongings.

“Just sit tight and wait,” she replied, continuing her task as she spoke.
