Soon after they finished lunch, they made their way to the luxury mall.

Fortunately, it was located just downstairs from the restaurant, so they walked over.

‘Ethan, any ideas?” Arabella asked.

Ethan shook his head. “Not really. Let’s browse and see what stands out.”

‘What did you usually get for her in previous years?” Arabella pressed.

‘Jewelry, designer clothes, handbags, shoes–that sort of thing. Usually the global limited editions,” Ethan replied.

‘I see.” Arabella’s eyes swept over the gleaming displays in the high–end boutiques.

While everything was dazzling, nothing immediately captured her interest. Nothing felt quite right.

Seemingly picking up on her hesitation, Matthew inquired, “Nothing here meets your standard? What did you have in mind?”

‘I just feel Naomi already has every material thing she could want. Everything she uses is from the latest collections, often limited editions. So for her gift, something more unique and personal would show greater thoughtfulness.” It was obvious the items here were mostly about brand prestige.

‘Let’s try the fine art and antiques gallery up ahead,” Matthew suggested.

Arabella considered it for a moment. “Alright.”

She also felt a gift of that nature would carry more intrinsic value and refinement.

Soon, they arrived at the gallery section.

“Matthew, Ethan, Arabella!” Naomi’s voice rang out, her expression one of genuine surprise.

Running into Naomi right away was unexpected for them as well.

“Naomi, what are you doing here?” Ethan asked curiously.

“Oh, just looking around,” Naomi replied, her eyes curiously taking in the group. “And all of you…?”

Ethan answered, “We ran into Mr. Stewart at lunch upstairs, so we decided to browse together afterward.”

He didn’t mention they were shopping for a birthday gift, wanting to preserve the surprise.

“Matthew, are you here to look at art as well?” Naomi turned to Matthew, her eyes smiling as she asked.

Naomi looked pleased. “Shall we go in and look, then?”

Matthew’s gaze briefly flicked to Arabella before he stepped into the gallery first.

Arabella and Ethan also entered, their eyes scanning the display cases one by one, hoping to find the perfect gift.

Listening to the constant commentary in her ear, Arabella felt a surge of irritation and finally snapped, “Are you on commission? Could you please lower your voice?”

She had never encountered a fellow shopper in a gallery as persistently talkative.
