“Is everyone okay?” Caroline asked anxiously.

Nelson shook his head. Tyler and Denton both said they were fine.

Bang! A loud crash echoed through the base. A chair slammed into one of the windows. The glass instantly cracked into a spiderweb pattern and looked like it would shatter any second.

The soldiers panicked.

Caroline stepped in and sealed the cracked windows with ice.

The soldiers rushed to find wooden boards and metal sheets to reinforce them.

Everyone joined in to help. Even Raven ran back and forth carrying boards.

Only the pig stayed where it was, completely still.

It stood there, doubting its entire pig life. What had just happened? What had it just seen? The cupcake that had been dangling in front of it this whole time was finally eaten.

But after seeing the sky, the cupcake didn’t taste good anymore.

After a long struggle, the tornado finally moved away. Only thick sand and dust were left behind.

Outside, the wind kept howling. The sky turned yellow. Visibility dropped to a few feet.

All outdoor activities were canceled. Everyone stayed inside the shelter, nervous and uneasy.

About half of the glass windows had been destroyed and were temporarily covered with wood or metal.

And then something worse happened: the entire base lost power.
