Chapter 21 The Slap 

Henry said, “Your dad left you a million dollars. In just a few days you’ve spent 100,000 dollars. How did you spend it?” 

When Anna heard this, she quickly said, “Mister, you want money, right? I’ll give you all of it. Please don’t kill me!” 

She curled up in the back, trembling all over. 

Henry frowned, disgusted by this kind of delinquent girl. “Rosalie, make her speak properly.” 

Slap! 

Rosalie backhanded Anna hard across the face. 

She showed no mercy. Anna was knocked to the ground immediately. Her face instantly turned red and began to swell. Blood trickled from the corner of her mouth. 

Henry said calmly, “From now on, you answer whatever I ask. Any problems with that?” 

Half of Anna’s face was already numb. Her heart was filled with terror. She didn’t even dare to cry now, let alone defy Henry. She quickly said, “Okay, no problem. My dad went to prison, and I had money. So I bought a phone, new clothes, a computer. I also treated Danny and his friends to meals at the esports café.” 

“Not going to school anymore? Summer vacation hasn’t started yet, right?” 

“I’ve been skipping classes. They bully me, saying my dad is a bad guy. No one takes care of me. Only Danny looked after me,” Anna said quietly. 

Henry’s face was unreadable. He thought to himself that Danny probably wanted to “take care” of her right into bed. 

A 16 year-old girl with such nerve. 

Neither of them spoke. Anna carefully lifted her head, trembling with fear in her heart. 

In her eyes, these two were like cold-blooded killers who killed without batting an eye. They were too terrifying. 

She had never seen such cold-blooded, ruthless people in her life. 

Since she had chosen to fall so low, Henry wasn’t a savior. He was too lazy to intervene. He didn’t ask more questions but said, “I’m taking you to see someone. After that, I’ll send you back to Danny.” 

He’s going to send me back to see Danny? 

After hearing this, Anna’s face turned deathly pale. Her whole body shook like a leaf. Her eyes rolled back and she fainted. 

Henry and Rosalie looked at each other. 

Rosalie said, “She thinks those guys are dead.” 

Henry sighed and said, “Wake her up.” 

Rosalie reached out and applied sharp pressure on Anna’s pale neck.
