After the medical team confirmed Quinn wasn’t in life-threatening danger, they bandaged her up and gave her a sedative to keep her calm.

Once everything was ready, I sat at the head of the room and gave a cold order.

“Bring up the Roosevelt people!”

Moments later, they dragged in some tattooed thug who looked like hell.

Blood was streaming down his forehead, his right eye was swollen shut-clearly they’d roughed him up already.

I used my riding crop to lift his chin.

“Why did you hurt her after taking the money?”

The guy looked around the room, his eyes finally settling on Madison.

“It was… the Reed family’s eldest daughter…”

“Bullshit! You’re lying!”

Madison screamed her denial.

I frowned, shooting her an annoyed glare.

The next second, security hit her with a stun baton.

Madison convulsed from the shock, looking desperately at Bryce for help.

Bryce wanted to intervene, but one look from Sterling Senior froze him in place.

I nodded at the thug to continue.

“The Reed daughter said some woman was trying to seduce Young Master Sterling, and she wanted us to destroy her.”

“She said… the five million up front was just a deposit. Once it was done and she successfully married into the Sterling family, she’d give us

another two million.”

“We were just doing our job-we didn’t know she was someone you were protecting! Please spare our lives!”

Bryce stared at Madison in disbelief: “Madison, you really did this? How could you… how could you be so vicious!”

“I already agreed to marry you-why did you still go after Quinn?”

“It wasn’t me! Bryce, he’s framing me-how can you believe scum like him!”

Madison glared at me: “You say I hurt my sister-show me the proof!”

“Who says we don’t have proof!”

Sterling Senior walked over and played a recording on his phone-

“Bryce is such an idiot-I just act pitiful and he believes everything! And my parents too-1 just faked some chat logs with the Roosevelt, and they didn’t even check before sending Quinn straight to them. Hahaha, so what if she’s their biological daughter? I’m still gonna destroy her!”

Madison went pale as a ghost: “Impossible! How do you have a recording? I clearly…”

She suddenly shut up, but everyone could see the truth written all over her face.

Mrs. Reed looked shocked: “Madison, why would you do this! She’s Mommy’s biological daughter-why would you hurt her!”

Mr. Reed opened his mouth but couldn’t say anything, just let out a long sigh.

With no way to argue, Madison burst into tears and fell to her knees in front of the Reed parents.

“Dad, Mom, I was wrong! Ever since sister came back, you only had eyes for her. She didn’t even like Bryce-why did she have to steal the Sterling marriage from me!”

“Mom, I’m sorry, I really didn’t mean to. I was just… so scared. I was afraid that once you found your biological daughter, you wouldn’t love me

“I just lost my head for a moment. I didn’t know they’d be so cruel to sister. Mom, please forgive me this once!”

Just as Mrs. Reed was about to waver, I pulled out a contract I’d had prepared.

“Make a choice-forgive this adopted daughter, or choose your biological daughter!”

“Choose the adopted daughter, sign this disownment agreement, and Quinn will have nothing to do with you ever again.”

“Choose Quinn, transfer all the Reed family assets to her name, and I’ll take Madison away!”
