Wrapped in her friend's comforting embrace, Kaia slowly regained her composure.

Brynlee spent about half an hour in Finnian's room before Kaia went to bring her back.

When Kaia knocked, Finnian opened the door. He had just showered and was dressed in comfortable sleepwear, leaning casually against the frame.

Brynlee tugged at Kaia's finger. "Mom, are you going to sleep in Dad's room tonight?"

Kaia gently smoothed her daughter's hair. "Celine and I haven't seen each other in a long time. I want to stay and chat with her."

Finnian's expression shifted slightly. He recalled that Celine had been going through a messy divorce for the past year, and Brynlee had just casually mentioned that it was finally finalized.

"Oh, then I want to hear your secret girl talk! I won't sleep in Dad's room either." Brynlee waved her little hand at Finnian. "See you tomorrow, Dad!"

"See you tomorrow, sweetheart," Finnian replied softly.

Kaia led Brynlee back to their suite and firmly shut the door.

Finnian remained leaning against his doorway, arms crossed over his chest, his gaze dark and unreadable.

While Kaia was drawing a bath for her daughter, Brynlee suddenly asked, "Mom, do you know where Aunt Noelle is right now?"

Kaia froze. She hadn't expected her daughter to bring up Noelle out of the blue. "I don't know. Do you?"

"Yeah. She and Dad were on a video call earlier. She looked like she was at some monastery, and there was this huge, super round moon behind her," Brynlee answered innocently.

"A boat ride? Mom, didn't you say you wanted to take me? Let's all go together!" Brynlee immediately jumped out of bed, her bare feet padding eagerly toward the door. "Dad, give Mom and me a second to get ready!"

Kaia had her own plans for the day, but Finnian's uninvited arrival had shattered them.

"Switzerland has a lot to offer in the summer. It's the perfect time to explore with our daughter," Finnian said, his eyes locking onto Kaia with unmistakable intent.

Brynlee grabbed Kaia's hand, doing a little dance. "Please, Mom? Let's all go together!"

Seeing her daughter's irresistible puppy-dog eyes, Kaia let out a soft sigh. "Alright. Let me get changed."
