"Aunt Noelle, you look so pretty." Brynlee peeked at the screen, then instantly pouted. "Aunt Noelle, you're blocking me! I can't even see my face."

Noelle froze. Finnian swiped through a few more photos.

"No fair, I don't look good. I want to take some by myself," Brynlee suddenly demanded.

"Alright, Brynlee can go on a ride by herself, and I'll take pictures just of you." Finnian hadn't expected to upset his daughter. The little one was not easily coaxed.

Noelle laughed from the side, shooting Finnian a playful glare. "Look at you. How did you manage that? You only took pictures of me and completely ignored Brynlee."

Finnian merely smiled and lifted his daughter back onto a small wooden horse.

Only then did Brynlee happily pose for her dad's camera.

Noelle crossed her arms and leaned against a nearby pillar. Seeing this clever little thing completely monopolize Finnian's attention, a flash of irritation crossed her eyes.

Before Brynlee came along, Noelle had been the only scenery in Finnian's eyes.

"Am I still Daddy's favorite girl?" Brynlee asked, nuzzling against her father's cheek.

Finnian patted her arm with absolute tenderness. "Of course. Dad's one and only little princess."

"What about Mom? Is Mom your one and only?" Brynlee asked earnestly.

Finnian hesitated, his dark eyes flickering.

Noelle quickly chimed in with a laugh. "Finnian, Brynlee knows so much for her age! It looks like Kaia has raised her incredibly well."
