What She Overheard in Her Own Marriage novel Chapter 624

After finishing her preparations, Noelle took a deep breath. Now, she needed to focus all her attention on Julian Kendrick.

Although the Kendrick family wasn't as powerful as the Sanders family, they were still incredibly wealthy. Julian was the legitimate heir, meaning he would eventually take over the entire family business.

If she couldn't be Mrs. Sanders, being Mrs. Kendrick was still enough to command respect in their social circles. As for Gordon Hayes, he was just a low-tier fish who couldn't satisfy her vanity. She would never settle for him unless she had absolutely no other choice.

Julian had been secretly in love with her for years, waiting patiently. She was confident that if she showed just a hint of interest, they could easily take things to the next level.

Julian arrived first. He was wearing a white puffer jacket and clearly hadn't dressed up for the occasion. His hair was slightly messy, but it gave him a clean, effortlessly handsome look.

Standing at the entrance, Noelle spotted him immediately and found herself studying him carefully.

In the past, Finnian had been such a radiant presence that every other man paled in comparison.

Because of that, Noelle had never paid much attention to anyone else; her eyes and mind were entirely locked onto Finnian.

Now that she had no better options, taking a closer look at Julian made her realize he had all the makings of a high-society heir. He was tall, lean, and possessed a uniquely charming, aristocratic air.

Noelle was very satisfied with this version of Julian. She was determined to lock him down.

"Julian, have you been waiting long?" Noelle's soft voice came from behind him as she walked around the table, the scent of cherry blossoms trailing after her.

Julian looked up at her and said flatly, "No. I just got here."
