What She Overheard in Her Own Marriage novel Chapter 627

Kaia was driving to her concert date with Simon, an event Mrs. Quinn had happily orchestrated.

It was a performance by an internationally renowned orchestra, held at the Cultural Arts Center.

Kaia had genuinely wanted to attend the concert, and since Mrs. Quinn had arranged it, she showed up as promised.

The moment she parked her car, she received a call from Noelle.

Seeing the name flash on her screen still triggered a wave of disgust in Kaia's chest.

But Noelle stubbornly called twice in a row. Kaia couldn't turn off her phone because she had to be available for work calls at all times. She decided to answer, hear her out, and then block her permanently.

When she picked up, Noelle's hoarse voice came through the speaker. "Kaia, I know you probably don't want to hear my voice."

"If you have something to say, spit it out. I don't have time to listen to your pity act," Kaia said coldly.

"I actually... wanted to apologize to you." Noelle hesitated for two seconds before forcing the words out. "Everything that happened in the past was my fault. I shouldn't have driven a wedge between you and Finnian, and I never should have interfered in your marriage. I know I was wrong. Can you please forgive me?"
