Rosalie was forced to get an abortion, and while her body was still recovering, she was admitted into an asylum. She lay on the bed limply, her face as pale as a sheet, looking dead inside.
Stephen appeared in her room and threw the evidence in her face with a loud smack.
"Did you really think that no one would find out all those things you did? How could you even take action against your own son? You don't deserve to be his mother!"
When Rosalie got a good look at the photos and documents, her countenance paled even further. She knew then that all her misdeeds had been discovered.
She opened her trembling lips, wanting to explain, but found that there was nothing she could say.
Stephen stared at her, the chill in his eyes akin to frost on a winter night. "Rosalie, I gave you plenty of chances, but you insisted on wasting them. You're forbidden from seeing Andy ever again. Enjoy your stay in the asylum for the rest of your life."
Rosalie could only gaze at Stephen's retreating figure, her eyes filling with unadulterated hatred.
She hated Stephen for his heartlessness. He used to whisper such sweet nothings to her. Yet, he was now being so ruthless toward her.
She hated Andrew for being so useless. He was her son, yet he couldn't do anything to save her.
However, the person she hated the most was actually Natania. What gave Natania the right to have everything while she was reduced to this state?
Nonetheless, she was utterly helpless at the moment. The torment she had to suffer at the asylum was way more horrifying than she had ever imagined.
Meanwhile, across the ocean, Natania, who was in a castle located in Luron, was resignedly feeding Benjamin.
"Natty, you're the best. My mommy and daddy don't want me anymore, do they?"
Yesterday, Benjamin had been having too much fun while playing that he refused to come inside even after it started raining heavily. As such, he developed a fever that same night.
However, Sophia had gone off early that morning to spend time with her husband, William Truman, leaving the boy in Natania's care.
At that moment, Natania was attentively caring for Benjamin while occasionally comforting the sick boy. "Of course your parents still want you. They just… just…"
Unfortunately, she couldn't think of an excuse.
Fortunately, Benjamin was a good and understanding child. Although he was a little disappointed, he still obediently ate his meal.
