After that, Stephen was kicked out of the Wendell residence, along with the evidence they had gathered.

He knew that he owed the Wendell family an explanation. Otherwise, it wouldn't just be Albert keeping him from seeing Natania. He wouldn't even be able to face her himself.

Outside, the sky had darkened, and heavy clouds hung low, making it look like the sky was about to fall.

Stephen returned to Fost Manor, his expression as grim as the weather. The guests had long since left, so he stormed right into Rosalie's room, a murderous air around him.

"Rosalie Granger, I warned you that you shouldn't do anything to upset Tania if you wanted Andy to remain in this family!"

He seized Rosalie by the throat, his fingers squeezing tight as he questioned, "Why did you have to provoke her? And what's the deal with that divorce agreement?"

His eyes were bloodshot, the usual gentleness in them nowhere to be seen. He looked ready to tear her apart with his bare hands.

Rosalie's face was flushed a bright red as she struggled to speak. "S-Stephen, w-what are y-you saying? I-I don't understand."

"You don't understand?" Stephen scoffed before showing her the house's surveillance footage. The video clearly depicted Rosalie asking him to sign the divorce agreement while he was drunk. "Now do you understand?"

With a glance at the video, Rosalie went deathly pale. Her teeth chattered, and she stumbled over her words, not even able to form a complete sentence. "I-I… Stephen, the divorce agreement… Ms. Wendell forced me to do it!"

"Stop lying!" Stephen's gaze sharpened as he tightened his grip. His fury at being deceived had completely overtaken all sense of rationality, causing him to practically squeeze with all his might.

Rosalie's struggles grew increasingly desperate, her eyes bulging with terror. Just as she was about to suffocate to death, the room door abruptly swung open, and Andrew rushed inside.

He was clearly terrified upon seeing Stephen's demeanor. His voice sounded thick with tears as he screamed, "Daddy, let Mommy go! Let her go!"

He tried his best to pry Stephen's hand away, but the man's fingers didn't even budge an inch.

Marissa happened to arrive then and hollered at Stephen, "Stephen, quickly let go of Rosalie! She's pregnant with your child!"

Something flickered in Stephen's eyes when he heard that, and he abruptly released his grip.
