When She Rose From the Ashes (Natalie and Jensen) novel Chapter 592

**TITLE: HereSelf 592**

**Chapter 592: The Whole Truth**

Baron was well-acquainted with Jonas. The man was not one to speak lightly; his words held weight, and he demanded credible evidence to back them up. Now, as he presented a file, it was evident that the depths of this story ran far deeper than they had initially perceived.

Jonas nodded solemnly, his expression grave.

He slid the file across the table, a deliberate movement that seemed to hang in the air. “Candice indeed attempted to seduce Mr. Stone. When her advances were met with indifference, she felt a sense of despair wash over her. In her hopelessness, she turned her attention to Hayes, becoming his mistress. At that juncture, one would assume that Candice’s involvement with the Stone family was over. However, fate had other plans. During one of her significant confrontations with Baron’s mother, Candice found herself in a car accident. The driver responsible for that accident was none other than your family’s driver, Mrs. Stone. He was in your employ at that time.”

At this revelation, Ruby’s body froze, her mind racing.

“That’s impossible! I’ve never been in an accident!” she exclaimed, her voice a mixture of disbelief and rising panic.

“You’re correct, Ruby. I can confirm that,” Waylon interjected quickly. “My wife rarely ventured out, and that driver was a man of integrity. He had served our family faithfully for many years.”

Jonas, unfazed, opened the file and turned to a specific page, then presented it to Ruby with an air of finality.

“This driver was indeed involved in the incident with Candice. Because of that accident, she lost her ability to conceive. At the time, Candice believed that your mother orchestrated the ‘accident.’ Fueled by this conviction, she utilized the Gunn family’s resources to dig deeper and discovered that this driver was related to the butler from Baron’s maternal grandfather’s household. With that connection, Candice became convinced that it was a deliberate act, a hit job masterminded by your mother.”

“This should have remained a private matter between the Gunn family and Candice. However, after Mrs. Gunn gave birth to Baron, when Candice and Hayes attempted to abduct the baby, they were thwarted by Mrs. Stone. In a shocking twist, Mrs. Stone even assisted Baron’s mother. This led Candice to believe that Mrs. Stone and Mrs. Gunn were in cahoots from the very beginning. She even suspected that Mrs. Stone might have been complicit in the ‘planned’ car accident. Coupled with her failure to seduce Mr. Stone, all her animosity was redirected toward you, Mrs. Stone.”

As these words sank in, Ruby felt a tempest of emotions brewing within her, ready to erupt.

“I had never even laid eyes on Mrs. Gunn until that moment! I had no knowledge of her!” she shouted, her voice trembling with indignation.

“How did it spiral into this? This had nothing to do with our family, and yet Candice stole my sister simply because of that?” Flynn questioned, his disbelief palpable as he struggled to comprehend the woman’s twisted logic.

Yulia nodded in grim agreement. “Yes. Candice lost her chance to become a mother. Witnessing both Baron’s mother and Mrs. Stone able to bear children was a cruel irony for her. Unable to reach Baron at that time, she redirected her vengeance towards Mrs. Stone, vowing to inflict upon her the same anguish of losing a child. She orchestrated the abduction of Ms. Stone. But that wasn’t enough. To truly torment Mrs. Stone, she replaced her with a deceased infant, making Mrs. Stone believe she had caused her own daughter’s demise.”

“She’s pure evil! That monster! Where is this Candice now? I swear I’ll kill her!” Ruby shouted, her body trembling with fury.

Waylon and Flynn shared expressions of dark determination, their resolve hardening.

“Yes, where is Candice now?” they echoed, their voices filled with a mix of anger and urgency.

Jonas looked at them, his expression heavy with understanding. “I know you’re seething with rage. I know you want to exact revenge. But I must warn you, you won’t get the chance.”
