The following day, during the midday break, Remy, the language teacher, burst through the door of class 19. “Serena, get out here now!”

The entire class was stunned, mechanically turning their heads towards the back row.

Indeed, they had always thought Indigo was a troublemaker difficult to handle, but next to Serena, he seemed like an angel!

Serena, who was catching up on some sleep, was rudely awakened, radiating an aura of irritation that silenced all thirty–some classmates.

Solstice swallowed hard and quietly gave Remy a thumbs up. Remy, you’ve got guts!

Some students bowed their heads, faced the table, and prayed in their hearts, wishing Remy all

the best.

As Serena got up and moved, every action was observed with bated breath by her classmates. Especially those who had badmouthed her when she first joined the class, they feared she might suddenly remember and settle scores with them.

Serena approached the podium. “What’s the matter, Mr. Remy?”

Remy’s mustache bristled with anger. “What’s the matter? You dare to ask me? Look at this!”

Two notebooks slammed onto the desk; one was hers, and the other belonged to Thanos.

“The handwriting and style are exactly the same, Serena. How could you not reach for the stars?”

Serena raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. “It’s possible I did both.”

Remy laughed sarcastically. “Oh, please. I assign different homework to prevent copying between the two classes, and both of these are from class 17’s homework!”

Serena fell silent.

“Get out and stand in the hallway!”

“Remy really isn’t afraid to die! How dare he punish Serena!” the classmates were astonished.

“What are you looking at? Poor grades and you still resort to these tricks! Next time you make this mistake, I’ll double the punishment!”

Back in class 19, some students peeked around the corner, a few sneaking glances; they were curious to see what revenge Serena would take on Remy.

Thanos, feeling guilty, saw his much shorter sister burdened with the same heavy load of books. He reached out to help her. “You’re not tall as it is, this will only make you shorter.”

Serena gave him a cool, dismissive glance, freezing Thanos’s hand mid–air, daring him not to

move.

Under Serena’s stern gaze, he reluctantly admitted his mistake. “I didn’t know he assigned the same to both classes, uh, no, I didn’t even know he was the language teacher for both class 19 and 17!”

The young man thought his excuse was reasonable, though he didn’t have much confidence in it.

Indigo passed by, entering class 19 through the back door.

Solstice grabbed him. “Mr. Indigo, Mr. Remy is still alive!”

Indigo was left speechless.

“You all have the wrong idea about Serena. She’s just a regular high school student.”

Just a bit vindictive.

Solstice widened his eyes. “Mr. Indigo, have you forgotten your stolen pork chop?”

Indigo pondered. Damn!

As it turned out, Remy made it through the afternoon unscathed, and after punishing Serena and Thanos for their homework, he was still jumping around.

Class 19’s fear of Serena noticeably diminished.

“Maybe if we don’t mess with her, nothing bad will happen…”

A female student noted thoughtfully, “Look, Rowan is doing just fine, isn’t she?”

“Yeah, I even think the scars on her face have faded these last few days.”

Celeste almost laughed out loud.

“Celeste, it was really her who pushed you and broke your hand, why didn’t you say so earlier?”

Her friends were indignant.

Celeste suppressed a smirk, her face a picture of pitiful innocence, but she couldn’t admit it; otherwise, Serena would definitely come after her.

“It’s not what you saw, I really fell by myself!”

The more she denied it, the more convinced others were that Serena had done it and even threatened her.

Lilian turned pale, stood up abruptly, and rushed to class 19.

Just as Serena and Rowan were returning from the restroom, Lilian grabbed her. “Serena, it wasn’t me, you destroyed my phone, and I don’t have a backup of the video!”

Class 19 students went quiet.

So chilling! What does it feel like to have a demon among you? That’s exactly how we felt now!

In the past, they might have dared to collectively tell Serena to get out of the school, but now, they didn’t dare.

Somehow, the Morrow family managed to have the post deleted that evening, and the school issued a statement prohibiting discussion of the incident. Mica almost smashed the Morrow residence.

Kelly could hear the commotion from upstairs, unable to focus on her homework.

Nathan was also irritated. “Who knew she could cause so much trouble?”

With the Wading Waters Bay project nearly settled, Nathan didn’t want to pour more money into this bottomless pit.

Meanwhile, at home, Olivia prepared a lavish meal to comfort Serena, even brewing herbal tea to promote good luck, making sure those who wished harm on Serena would keep their distance. Because of this incident, Serena received her performance evaluation notification earlier than expected.
