When the GF9 Test Subject Became His Obsession novel Chapter 64

Joshua glanced at Harry with a faint, mocking smile but said nothing.

“Too much? Harry, don’t take the benefits and then pretend to be noble,” Morgan snapped.

Harry knew he was being hypocritical and chose to shut his mouth.

Morgan continued, “Those Building B losers should just stay losers. Competing with Building A for bonus points? They brought this on themselves. No self-awareness at all—getting kicked out of school would serve them right.”

Down below, the scene had already turned chaotic. Building B students were demanding an apology from Jeremy.

Jeremy spat at the ground. “A bunch of trash, that’s all you are. Pah!”

If that didn’t start a fight, what would?

Thanos clenched his fists, ready to swing. For the dignity of being an older brother, for Lebron’s hopes, for Serena’s effort in taking cheap shots on the court, he had to get justice.

Joshua smirked. Go on, Thanos. Fight. Once you’re expelled, Serena will be next.

But the next moment, Serena grabbed Thanos’s arm and, with what seemed like casual ease, kicked the smug Jeremy away.

As her foot connected, her gaze lifted toward the floor-to-ceiling windows above.

The glass was one-way—no one outside could see in—but Joshua felt, inexplicably, that Serena was looking straight at him. A chill ran through him, deep enough to make him shiver.

“Joshua, Serena just hit someone!” Morgan sounded like he’d struck gold, his excitement bubbling over.

“Come downstairs with me!” Between Thanos and Serena, Joshua was far more eager to get rid of Serena.

Thanos was frustrated at being stopped. “Why didn’t you let me hit him?”

“If you hit him, you’ll be expelled. Our parents had to pay to get you in here in the first place.”

Thanos froze. Fine—his dignity might not be worth much, but still…

“Then how come you can hit him?”

Serena’s expression was all innocence. “When did I hit anyone?”

She turned to the Building B crowd. “Did you see me hit anyone?”

Solstice’s mouth twitched before he raised his voice. “Didn’t see a thing! Jeremy tripped on his own blind eyes!”

They’d just sit here until the student council—or the school—gave them an answer.

As the vice president of the student council, Joshua had never been challenged like this before. “Fine, sit here then.”

If they thought he’d return the slots, they were dreaming. The student council wasn’t afraid of anyone.

Building B had its share of trust fund kids—students no one, not even the school, could really control. They might not excel academically, but when it came to making trouble, they were experts.

Someone posted Jeremy’s arrogant remarks to the school forum. His contempt for and discrimination against Building B lit a fire under every student there.

What started as a spectacle turned into a full-scale nonviolent resistance. Students from all sides joined in.

By that afternoon, the school’s phones were ringing off the hook with parents calling.

“We pay tuition so you can bully our kids?”

“You take our donations to give scholarships to Building A, fine—but now they’re calling our sons trash?”

“The school owes us an explanation!”
