When the GF9 Test Subject Became His Obsession novel Chapter 99

That unbelievably hot guy actually ignored Kelly and walked straight toward her. Peyton’s blood rushed to her head. She nearly fainted on the spot.

But in the next second, the man walked past her and looked at Serena. “Hello. Can you show me the way?”

Rowan immediately scooted her wheelchair aside. She couldn’t let this golden opportunity slip away. “I can get back on my own. Just think of this as a good deed for the day.”

She even winked. A guy like that dropping into their lap? No reason to waste it.

Serena glanced sideways. Her deskmate was definitely overthinking things.

Serena’s porcelain face remained blank. “One hundred dollars.”

A faint smile tugged at Sebastian’s lips. He pulled out his wallet and handed her a crisp hundred-dollar bill.

Only then did Serena seem satisfied. “Rowan, I’ll see you later.”

Rowan nodded quickly. “Mhm.”

Watching the two of them walk away, the entire crowd gasped.

“Did Serena just charge that hot guy for directions?”

“That’s so Serena!”

By now, the student body had pretty much split into two factions—those who worshipped Serena and those who couldn’t stand her.

Hearing that comment, one of her detractors rolled their eyes.

“Peyton, didn’t you say the guy was here for Kelly?”

Peyton’s face turned red, then pale. “Who else could he be here for besides Kelly? He’s clearly blind!”

The others just smirked and said nothing.

Kelly tried to maintain the grace of a school goddess and heiress, but her composure cracked. She turned on her heel and left.

That man was here for the school nurse’s office built by Hayes Corp. She was Hayes Corp’s trainee. And he dared to ignore her? Fine. She’d make him regret it.

“Congratulations,” Sebastian said.

“Thanks,” Serena replied.

The fresh scent coming off her made his pulse itch. Her porcelain profile caught the sunlight, highlighting her delicate features. His chest felt oddly tight.

For a second, he imagined they looked just like a couple, strolling under everyone’s gaze.

What did that mean? Was he supposed to sneak in like a criminal?

But Kelly’s eyes were fixed on Sebastian and Serena, her jealousy rising.

“This nurse’s office was built by Hayes Corp for the candidates in the final round. It’s not for just anyone. I don’t permit you to treat him!”

Kelly finally wielded her authority, her eyes filled with arrogance.

How dare he disrespect her and humiliate her in public? She’d teach him a lesson.

So what if he looked good? In front of real elites, that meant nothing.

Zayden nearly laughed out loud. Just a candidate for the final round and already acting like she owned the place?

Do you even know who he is? One word from him, and not just you—the entire Morrow family could be erased from existence.

Zayden kindly reminded her, “Young lady, this gentleman is an important guest of Hayes Corp. You don’t have the authority to question him.”

“W-What?” Kelly’s voice faltered, her arrogance vanishing on the spot.

Zayden added fuel to the fire. “If you want to be blacklisted by Hayes Corp, go ahead and keep provoking him.”

Kelly paled and stood there frozen, panic spreading across her face.
