When The Moon Hides Her Crown (Seraphina) by Pooja novel Chapter 302

THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW

Every Alphas turned their eyes to the Alpha King’s throne. A realization began to dawn. Her meaning, her purpose.

“Wait…a minute,” Ryker’s hand slowly released her throat, and his smirk widened, as he chuckled, “So, you’re not here to marry me or become my Luna Queen,” he laughed darkly. “You’re here for my throne?”

“To reclaim my throne,” Seraphina corrected him with icy precision, her tone flat and resolute. “It’s time to return my stolen throne, Ryker.”

The Grand Hall fell silent, the revelation hanging in the air like thick smoke. Every pair of eyes in the room turned to Ryker, waiting for his reaction. His grin twisted, a dangerous glint in his eyes as he leaned in closer to Seraphina, his voice dripping with venom. “Why does it sound like a challenge?”

“Then it sounds correct,” Seraphina shot back without hesitation, her voice echoing throughout the hall, confident and cold.

A wave of gasps rippled through the crowd as a woman dared to challenge the Alpha King in such a manner. The tension was thick enough to choke on, the room on edge, every onlooker unsure of what would happen next.

Ryker’s grin deepened as a low growl rumbled in his chest. His wolf stirred beneath the surface as his eyes darkened with a predatory gleam. “How are you planning to defeat me, darling?” he asked, inching closer to her, his tone both mocking and dangerous. “You’re no longer a goddess. You’ve given up your powers to protect the people of this realm from my dark magic, remember?” His gaze traveled over her, full of dark desire. “Or could it be that you’re thinking of coming at me bare-handed?” He wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her slightly toward him. “Careful, you’ll burn yourself.”

“Burn me,” Seraphina whispered back, her lips brushing against his ear. She slid her hand across his chest, pushing him away with enough force to make him stagger back. Turning on her heel, she moved to the center of the room, her posture confident, the eyes of every Alpha in the hall upon her.

She stood tall, her voice loud and clear, cutting through the tension. “I, Seraphina, challenge Ryker Wraithe for the Alpha King’s throne!” she declared, stunning everyone in the room.

Ryker’s eyes flashed with amusement, a dark smirk curling on his lips. “Challange me, the King of Dark Magic without your powers? Don’t tell me you’re planning to regain your powers and risk everyone’s life, Seraphina?” he taunted, his voice dripping with mockery. The moment she would her power drops from the people Ryker’s dark magic was going to kill everyone.

Seraphina’s expression remained unwavering as she met his gaze. “I wouldn’t need my powers to take you down, Ryker,” she stated coldly. Her response wiped the smile from his face, replacing it with something far more dangerous.

“But I will show you what it means to be a Queen,” she continued, standing tall, her back straight and her confidence radiating from her. At that moment, Phina’s voice joined her, “I’ll show you what makes me an Alpha Queen.”

Seraphina’s lips curled into a smile that sent an icy chill through everyone present. “You have sixty seconds to defeat me and make me yours forever, King of Dark Magic,” she added softly, her voice carrying an ominous weight that made the air itself seem to thicken. “This will be the last chance you will ever get in your life.”

The audacity of her challenge left everyone in the hall frozen, unsure of whether to be terrified or mesmerized.

“Thirty five now. Aren’t you coming?” she taunted.

Ryker’s smile deepened into something far darker, and an intense, malicious aura began to build around him. “Then I am really looking forward to seeing...” His voice dropped to a low, threatening growl, “What makes you an Alpha Queen without your powers.”

The temperature in the room seemed to drop as Ryker’s dark energy swirled around him, an almost tangible force that crackled in the air. His dark blue eyes locked onto Seraphina with a dark promise as he walked towards her, “Now no need for the wedding…” he growled, glaring at her.

The Alphas in the Grand Hall instinctively grew alert, sensing the danger that was rising as Ryker strode toward Seraphina, his dark aura burning like wildfire.

“I will be dragging you to my bed,” he finished.

As the distance between them disappeared, the tension in the room thickened. Everyone, even the most seasoned warriors, could sense the inevitable, the fall of Seraphina was coming. A woman could never defeat a man in any manner. And the man in front of her was not an ordinary man but Ryker Wraithe. Close to consuming her in his dark magic.
