Every Alphas turned their eyes to the Alpha King’s throne. A realization began to dawn. Her meaning, her
purpose.
“Wait….a minute,” Ryker’s hand slowly released her throat, and his smirk widened, as he chuckled, “So, you’re not here to marry me or become my Luna Queen,” he laughed darkly. “You’re here for my throne?”
“To reclaim my throne,” Seraphina corrected him with icy precision, her tone flat and resolute. “It’s time to return my stolen throne, Ryker.”
The Grand Hall fell silent, the revelation hanging in the air like thick smoke. Every pair of eyes in the room turned to Ryker, waiting for his reaction. His grin twisted, a dangerous glint in his eyes as he leaned in closer to Seraphina, his voice dripping with venom. “Why does it sound like a challenge?”
“Then it sounds correct,” Seraphina shot back without hesitation, her voice echoing throughout the hall, confident and cold.
A wave of gasps rippled through the crowd as a woman dared to challenge the Alpha King in such a manner. The tension was thick enough to choke on, the room on edge, every onlooker unsure of what would happen next.
Ryker’s grin deepened as a low growl rumbled in his chest. His wolf stirred beneath the surface as his eyes darkened with a predatory gleam. “How are you planning to defeat me, darling?” he asked, inching closer to her, his tone both mocking and dangerous. “You’re no longer a goddess. You’ve given up your powers to protect the people of this realm from my dark magic, remember?” His gaze traveled over her, full of dark desire. “Or could it be that you’re thinking of coming at me bare–handed?” He wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her slightly toward him. “Careful, you’ll burn yourself.”
“Burn me,” Seraphina whispered back, her lips brushing against his ear. She slid her hand across his chest, pushing him away with enough force to make him stagger back. Turning on her heel, she moved to the center of the room, her posture confident, the eyes of every Alpha in the hall upon her.
She stood tall, her voice loud and clear, cutting through the tension. “I, Seraphina, challenge Ryker Wraithe for the Alpha King’s throne!” she declared, stunning everyone in the room.
Ryker’s eyes flashed with amusement, a dark smirk curling on his lips. “Challange me, the King of Dark Magic without your powers? Don’t tell me you’re planning to regain your powers and risk everyone’s life, Seraphina?” he taunted, his voice dripping with mockery. The moment she would her power drops from the people Ryker’s dark magic was going to kill everyone.
Seraphina’s expression remained unwavering as she met his gaze. “I wouldn’t need my powers to take you down, Ryker,” she stated coldly. Her response wiped the smile from his face, replacing it with something far more dangerous.
“But I will show you what it means to be a Queen,” she continued, standing tall, her back straight and her confidence radiating from her. At that moment, Phina’s voice joined her, “I’ll show you what makes me an Alpha Queen.”

Seraphina’s lips curled into a smile that sent an icy chill through everyone present. “You have sixty seconds to defeat me and make me yours forever, King of Dark Magic,” she added softly, her voice carrying an ominous weight that made the air itself seem to thicken. “This will be the last chance you will ever get in your life.”
The audacity of her challenge left everyone in the hall frozen, unsure of whether to be terrified or mesmerized.
“Thirty five now. Aren’t you coming?” she taunted.
Ryker’s smile deepened into something far darker, and an intense, malicious aura began to build around him. “Then I am really looking forward to seeing…” His voice dropped to a low, threatening growl, “What makes you an Alpha Queen without your powers.”
The temperature in the room seemed to drop as Ryker’s dark energy swirled around him, an almost tangible force that crackled in the air. His dark blue eyes locked onto Seraphina with a dark promise as he walked towards her, “Now no need for the wedding…” he growled, glaring at her.
The Alphas in the Grand Hall instinctively grew alert, sensing the danger that was rising as Ryker strode toward Seraphina, his dark aura burning like wildfire.
“I will be dragging you to my bed,” he finished.
As the distance between them disappeared, the tension in the room thickened. Everyone, even the most seasoned warriors, could sense the inevitable, the fall of Seraphina was coming. A woman could never defeat a man in any manner. And the man in front of her was not an ordinary man but Ryker Wraithe. Close to consuming her in his dark magic.
Yet, Seraphina stood motionless, her gaze locked on Ryker, awaiting the strike, as if daring him to make the first move.
“Ready, Seraphina?” Ryker’s grin widened, his voice dripping with anticipation as his hand reached out, mere inches from her.
But just as his fingers were about to graze her skin, Seraphina made her move. With a swift, precise motion, she drove her half–shifted claws deep into the mark on her neck, directly over where Ryker had
bitten her.
Ryker stopped dead in his tracks in horror the moment she stabbed the mark on her neck the darkness flickering around him vanished like smoke in the wind.
His heart dropped and eyes widened. Since he had left a mark on her, his dark magic had connected the two of them. The moment she stabbed and ripped the mark off, his dark magic not only parted from her body along with the mark but also ripped his dark magic from him for a couple of moments.
“YOU!” He glared at her furious, understanding that she made him just a werewolf. Just an Alpha like herself.
“What’s wrong? Can’t remember when you last fought like a man without your dark magic?” Seraphina’s amber eyes burned with hatred as she whispered to him, “Five seconds.”

In an instant, she shifted into her white wolf, her form majestic and lethal as she pounced on her Be shifted into his wolf at that moment but could not handle her. He could not understand her attack Seraphina combined her knowledge and skill from nine hundred years ago, moring, against Pyker like a flash. The Alphas watched her white wolf against the black Alpha King’s wolf leaving them speechiens
Ryker’s wolf howled in anger and pain. The frightening technique that he never knew existed injured his internal organs, crushing his bones before he could even attack. He never fought againe Blood Petal or Seraphina before. He had just seen her power as goddess but in this moment all his nine hundred years felt nothing.
He felt like he was forced into a machine where he was being attacked from all the sides, unable to see where the next attack would come from. He was the man that craved the strongest blood and wiped them away from the face of the earth but the she–wolf that he lusted over for her beauty and body for that last nine hundred years had just turned his misunderstanding that there was no person left alive stronger than
him.
The seconds ticked by, and with each passing moment, Ryker’s strength faltered. In the final second, she lunged, her claws ripping through his throat, silencing him forever. His dark reign ended in a heartbeat.
The entire Grand Hall fell into a dead silence in shock, horror, and disbelief. Their eyes went to the unmoving man who had been the Alpha King just a moment ago and the she–wolf that had crushed him under her heel. A she–wolf defeated the Alpha King and claimed the throne!
Seraphina’s white wolf lifted her bloody face from Ryker’s torn throat and looked ahead where all the Alphas present in the room knelt down in front of her and lowered their heads in submission
“Alpha Queen,” they said in unison.
Seraphina shifted back into her human form, her clothes were mostly torn but her entire body was red with Ryker’s blood, The Alphas that never accepted any female as superior looked at her with the eyes full of respect. Instead of fear, the submission came from the soul and when their eyes met her they all had confident smiles on their lips.
“We greet our Alpha Queen!” they said together.
Seraphina just stood there watching but she knew this was just the beginning.
Next, the Grand Hall echoed with her name when a dark laugher echoed in the hall horrifying everyone. They all stilled while Seraphina glanced down at Ryker whose dark magic returned, bringing him back to life, fixing his crushed bones, and stopping his bleeding. The curse she had placed on him had turned into a boon for him. Over the years he had learnt to return to life.
“How dare you rip the mark off!” in a blink he stood up with his throat still ripped open as he glared at her. Like the last time, she let him believe that she gave up, or accepted him but she betrayed him. “How dare you play with me, AGAIN?!” he roared, advancing towards her as his darkness flared in through the hall. choking the Alphas but coming at Seraphina aiming at her heart.
Seraphina stood still, her eyes emotionless, “Did you even think as to why I had given you those seconds to defeat me?”
As the words left her lips, the air in the Grand Hall shifted suddenly and Seraphina smiled at Ryker, the
