"And you," Pamela said, pointing at Yosef, "you should give Matteo a fifty-percent stake in your company! That's the only fair and reasonable thing to do!"

Matteo finally spoke up. "Mom, what are you talking about? Don't go too far!"

"Give him half?" Yosef scoffed. "Do you think we're children? You want half my company in exchange for a manufactured crisis? Are you trying to make me sick with disgust?"
