When Two Winters Met (Henrietta and Yosef) novel Chapter 344

In the past, Henrietta had always been somewhat shy, the one who would bashfully receive his advances.

She would endure his passion, his dominance, and the pleasure he gave her.

But after her epiphany, Henrietta became proactive, shedding the passive enjoyment she once settled for.

She began to take what she wanted, to act according to her own desires.

That night, Yosef was pleasantly surprised, but also quite puzzled.

His usually reserved wife, who was even more shy and timid when it came to intimacy, had actually initiated things twice.

Once, she had even boldly climbed on top of him.

The visual and psychological impact on him was quite strong.

Last night, they had fallen asleep from exhaustion. When Yosef opened his eyes this morning, he was still thinking about it.

Yosef even began to wonder, had he not been doing a good enough job?

Is that why Henrietta had taken the initiative?

Before Yosef could ponder for long, Henrietta’s eyes fluttered open.

She habitually turned to look at the man beside her and saw that he was already awake.

“You’re awake, too,” Henrietta said as a greeting, pushing back the covers to get up and wash.

But Yosef stopped her. “Henrietta.”

Henrietta was sitting on the edge of the bed, leaving him with a view of her slender, pale back.

At his voice, she turned her head. “Yes?”

Yosef asked directly, “Is there something you feel I haven’t been doing well?”

Henrietta slowly raised an eyebrow, then said, “What are you referring to?”

“Last night,” Yosef said.

Henrietta’s eyebrows lifted a little higher. She pursed her lips. “No, it was great.”

After saying that, Henrietta even patted Yosef’s hand.

Then she stood up and walked toward the bathroom.

Soon, it was Saturday.

Sherry called Henrietta early in the morning to tell her the location for her wedding dress fitting.

Speaking of which, Henrietta and Yosef’s own wedding was still in the planning stages.

Now, Quinton had jumped the line and was getting married first.

In just three weeks, the Sargent family would host a wedding to officially welcome Sherry.

But Henrietta didn’t mind. Quinton was the older brother, so it was only right for him to get married first.

Henrietta was about to get up, but Yosef pulled her back into his arms. “Henrietta, it’s Saturday.”

He immediately started kissing her.

They had been up until the early hours last night. His stamina was truly impressive, his appetite for her insatiable.

In the past, Henrietta would never have escaped his dominant and forceful advances.

But now, Henrietta calmly pushed him away. “I can’t. I have something to do.”
