When Two Winters Met (Henrietta and Yosef) novel Chapter 345

Yosef paused, slowly raising an eyebrow. “What is it?”

Henrietta gently pushed him away and sat up. “I have to help Sherry pick out her wedding dress today.”

At this, Yosef’s brow furrowed. “Why didn't you mention this? It's Saturday, a rare day off, and you have to go with her to pick out a dress.”

Yosef's tone was clearly tinged with displeasure.

Henrietta slipped on her nightgown and got out of bed, heading for the bathroom. “I’m just going to help her choose a dress, it’s not that tiring,” she said as she walked. “I already tried to decline, but she insisted, so it would have been rude to say no again.”

Yosef also got out of bed and followed her into the bathroom. “Is Quinton going too?”

Henrietta’s hand paused as she squeezed toothpaste onto her brush. “I’m not sure,” she replied. “I didn’t ask. I assume he won’t be there? Or maybe he’ll show up after the dresses are chosen?”

Henrietta hadn't thought to ask Sherry if Quinton would be there.

Wouldn't that have been weird?

It was normal for the groom to be there for wedding dress shopping. If she had asked if Quinton was coming and then said she wouldn't go, it would have been even stranger.

Yosef nodded. “Alright, you can go. But come back as soon as you’re done.”

Henrietta nodded.

When she arrived at the bridal shop, it was nearly ten o’clock. Sherry was already waiting for her by the entrance.

This was the most famous and largest bridal shop in Juno City.

Located in a bustling commercial district, its storefront was beautifully and romantically designed.

Through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, you could see stunning wedding dresses inside.

It was enough to make passersby stop and stare, a sense of longing stirring in their hearts.

Henrietta got out of the car, and Sherry rushed over to greet her happily. “Henrietta, you’re here!”

Henrietta pursed her lips and nodded. “Are you here by yourself? Quinton didn’t come?”

There were so many to look at, and then they had to be tried on. It was quite a hassle.

Henrietta decided it was best to offer few opinions and let Sherry take the lead.

After all, it was Sherry’s wedding dress. It had nothing to do with her. She was only here because she couldn’t refuse the favor, just to lend an eye.

So it was most important that Sherry liked them. If she gave too many opinions, it might not be helpful.

The two entered the shop and were warmly greeted by four professional consultants.

They first asked about Sherry's preferences, then showed her pictures of all the dresses in her preferred styles for her to choose from.

Because the shop was very large, with floor-to-ceiling windows right on the street, the group sat near a window to look through the options. Just then, Quinton arrived.

Before he even entered the shop, he saw Henrietta through the glass window.

His gaze locked onto Henrietta and remained there as he walked inside.
