As if anticipating Thora’s question, Luke immediately opened his laptop and pulled up the guy’s file directly from the military academy’s internal student database.

“He’s a sophomore in the Shooting Institute. His registered codename is Dove. The guy’s petty and holds grudges like nobody’s business. He’s been involved in multiple violent incidents on campus before and even got disciplinary marks on his record. But after moving to the sophomore year, he toned it down a lot, probably because he was afraid he wouldn’t graduate. It’s ranked in the top 20 in the Shooting Institute, but his overall academy ranking falls somewhere outside the top 15.

Luke tapped a few keys, and part of the guy’s school record popped up on screen.

“This guy loves hanging around the Nine Tower. According to his file, his current level caps out at the third floor.”

The student files in the school’s internal system only recorded basic personal information and campus performance, so there was only so much Luke could dig up.

Tristan frowned. “This guy actually had the nerve to mess with Shirley? Does he have a death wish?”

In his eyes, Shirley was a lit fuse ready to blow. Anyone who touched her was asking for trouble.

But Thora’s expression darkened. She spoke in a low voice, “Shirley broke the school rules. She should be punished.”

Thora’s reaction was exactly what Tristan and Luke had expected.

The Boss had always been fair with rewards and punishments. Even if she was protective of her own, she would never bend the rules for anyone.

After all, Shirley had indeed violated the military academy’s regulations.

After hearing the whole story, Thora said nothing more. She only stated, “This is a military academy, not the outside world. Since we’re here, we follow the rules.”

Her expression was serious as she finished, then added three more words. “On the surface.”

The three exchanged glances and replied in unison, “Yes”

The Boss’s meaning was crystal clear. Whatever they wanted to do, as long as no one caught them red- handed, they were free to go for it.

Rules were meant to be followed-on the surface.

Thora took a sip of water and swept her gaze over the three of them, clearly sensing that their presence was different from before.

Especially Tristan and Ryan. It seemed the military academy’s targeted training had done them a lot of good,

The training plans she had designed for them before were comprehensive, but mostly focused on combat.

The academy’s advanced courses, however, filled in the gaps in their theoretical knowledge, broadened

their perspectives, and provided specialized training in each of their areas of expertise.

Blue Star Military Academy hadn’t earned its reputation for nothing.

“If you have time, you should check out the Nine Tower Thora suddenly spoke up.

Luke had no interest. He had never liked scenes of violence and bloodshed. A place like that simply wasn’t for him, so he said nothing.

Tristan, on the other hand, perked up immediately. He had been itching to go for a while now.

Since the Boss had given the green light, that was as good as official permission.
