Yanny dragged Samantha and was just about to leave when Shayne stopped her. "Come back!"
Samantha pulled on Yanny's hand and said, "Let's go back, Yanny."
Yanny awkwardly shuffled back next to Shayne, who forcefully pulled her to his side. "Since you're here, let me introduce you to each other."
Vivien looked at Yanny with a hostile gaze and smiled disdainfully. "Did you call this woman here to anger me, Shayne? Do you hate me that…"
Before Vivien could finish her sentence, Shayne grabbed Yanny's waist, pulled her into his embrace, and gave her a deep, sensual kiss.
The kiss was very sudden. Before Yanny could be mentally prepared, it was already over.
Then, Shayne looked at Vivien disdainfully yet impassively, "Anger you? I would've already forgotten about you if you're not that persistent."
Vivien felt humiliated. She bit her lip until it was white but did not throw a tantrum.
"Get lost, and don't let me see you again. What a bother." Shayne's dismissal was terse.
Vivien was about to burst out in tears because of anger and embarrassment. She turned around and prepared to run out of the mansion.
Shayne spoke casually to her back, "Also, don't ever come to my house again. I can sue you for trespassing."
Vivien stomped her foot on the floor, but she could not do anything more. She wiped her tears and ran out.
After the drama, Yanny asked nonchalantly, "Your ex?"
Shayne looked at her and frowned slightly. "She's not my ex. I don't have an ex."
'What a douche.'
Shayne glanced at Samantha. "Why are you two together?"
"I got to know Yanny from a film shoot in the mountains, so I begged her to bring me to a hotpot restaurant! You never bring me to hotpot anyway!" Samantha lied.
Yanny added, "Yes, Samantha said that she was craving for hotpot, so she asked me to bring her there."
Shayne was not too bothered by it, so he did not suspect that Samantha had asked Yanny to go to the parent-teacher meeting on his behalf.
"Go ahead and chat, Big Bro and Yanny. I'm feeling sleepy. I'll take a shower and go to bed. Good night!"
Samantha ran up the stairs.
Only Shayne and Yanny were left in the cavernous living room.
Yanny recalled that the woman looked familiar. "Was the woman earlier… Vivien Reed, the famous actress?"
"You know her?"
"I was quite an avid follower of Game of Thrones, one of the period dramas that she starred in. I thought it was quite well-made, so I guess you can call me a fan," she answered truthfully.
Shayne took a step closer to her, and his commanding presence made her feel uncomfortable. She reflexively took a step backward, but Shayne was relentless.
"You're her fan? She broke into my house, and you're still her fan?"
Yanny was baffled. "Not anymore."
"Are you jealous?"
Yanny saw the hint of mischief in the corners of Shayne's lips and realized that she had been misled.
However, she remembered that Lily told her that Shayne used to love Vivien deeply.
"I wouldn't dare to be jealous. I'm just the same as Vivien."
She did not think that she was any different from Vivien Reed. In the future, Shayne would abandon her when she fell out of his favor.
"You're not the same." Shayne's expression was gloomy.
"…"
His expression became gloomier when he saw that she did not reply. "Fine. You're the same as her. Happy?"
"…"
'I didn't say anything, but he's already ticked off for some reason.'
