Yanny came to talk to Shayne before joining the set of ‘The Whisper of Death’ in August.
The door to the Luna Mansion opened and there was nobody downstairs. “Master Shayne?” She called out his name as she changed her shoes.
Nobody answered. Yanny saw an opened letter on the dining table.
Something caught her attention.
The sender was Samuel.
Before Yanny could react, Shayne was already walking down the stairs.
Feeling as if she was being spied on, Yanny asked, “Master Shayne, why is my letter with you?”
Shayne sneered, “Rather than that, why are you still in contact with him?”
“I didn’t.”
Wait. How did Shayne know about Samuel?
Yanny took a deep breath. She frowned and asked, “Master Shayne, you were investigating me?”
“Why shouldn’t I? Yanny, who do you think you are to me? Why shouldn’t I?”
Shayne’s words were forceful. Anger stirred within her. “You can investigate me but opening my letter? Yes, you support me financially but this doesn’t mean you can invade my privacy.”
Stony-faced, Shayne came up to her and took the letter, “Mingling with your backer while staying in contact with your ex-boyfriend who is currently overseas. Yanny, you’re something else.”
Shayne threw the letter at her face.
Yanny tilted her head and avoided it.
She closed her eyes and remained calm. “I never write back. I don’t know why he’s sending me letters.”
“Happy birthday,” Jinn scoffed. “Pick it up and read it. There’s even a pretty postcard. You can keep it for collection.”
Yanny took a gulp. His words were full of jest and distrust.
She said nothing. She bent down and picked up the letter.
Without taking another look at her, he turned his back on her. He picked up a dart next to him and threw it across the world map, with force, steadiness and precision.
It was as if the world map was Yanny.
Yanny looked at him and pursed her lips. “Master Shayne, I came to tell you that I’m joining the set in the capital.
Shayne had a frosty look. He continued to throw the darts at the wall, not saying a word.
Yanny tightened her grip on the letter. “Master Shayne, I’m leaving.” She said no more.
She turned around and left the mansion.
Just after she left, Shayne kicked over a chair.
Just go ahead and leave. Why even bother to talk to her?
He could not believe that she took the letter with her. Was she really going to keep it?
A scandal involving Shayne and a celebrity was reported that very night.
A model with a height of 5’7” who had the perfect, curvy figure that was not any lesser than Yanny was seen hugging Shayne and entering Universal Port World Trade Hotel.
Yanny saw the news when she had consecutive NG scenes and the director made her stop to regain her composure. She was taking a break as she came upon the news.
She felt even more irritated.
Cindy received the news fast. She sent the news to Yanny right away.
“Yan, are they talking about Shayne in the news? My eyes aren’t fooling me, right?”
“No.”
Having shared multiple intimate experiences with Shayne, she could tell from the blurry picture that it was him.
“I can’t believe it’s true. I never believe the rumors spread by these tea accounts. But it really is Shayne Jinn…”
The celebrity was Cassie. Model-turned-actress, she had a great fashion sense and good with cameras.
Yanny did not like her.
The director summoned her back, “We are resuming!”
Yanny managed to find Shayne’s social media before she put down her phone. They added each other again after they reconciled since he last blocked her.
However, this time, Yanny wanted to make the first move. She didn’t want him to say it first.
…
After the higher-ups did their job, they called and reported to Shayne, “Master Shayne, we did as you told. It’s definitely trending.”
Shayne looked at the trending topic which read, [Cassie was spotted entering a hotel with a mysterious man.]
The news wrote, [The mysterious man is assumed to be the CEO of Jinn Group.]
Shayne smirked and complimented, “Nice work.”
After hanging up, Shayne received a text.
“Master Shayne, we should break up.”
It was from Yanny.
Shayne felt inflated, thinking that she was jealous. This trick worked surprisingly well. He raised one of his eyebrows and sent her a text, “Jealousy makes one ugly.”
She said she would not get jealous but look at her now.
Shayne was feeling happy with himself.
However, right after sending his text, he was notified that it had been rejected.
Shayne was silent for a moment.
His expression darkened entirely.
Another phone was wrecked.
…
Yanny spent her birthday on the set.
She never usually celebrated her birthday, but the crew insisted on celebrating.
That night, Yanny retweeted the crew’s birthday post and wishes.
Shayne logged on to Twitter and saw her retweet. He was annoyed.
